Where are you going on honeymoon or, if you haven't yet booked, where are you thinking of going and for how long?

Hi we are going to Thailand for about 10 days. Its really just stopping off on our way back to New Zealand which is where we live so didn't have to pay any extra for the flight - you can do a free stopover. Can't wait!!

    What about you?

We finalised all our bookings for the honeymoon last night ?

Fligth to Johannesburg the day after the wedding. One night in a cheap hotel near the airport, and then internal flight to Hoesdpruit Airport (Kruger). We are then doing a 10 day horse safari staying in 3 different game lodges/tented camps. Fly back to Jo'burg on day 10 and then same day fly on to Dubai. 4 nights in Dubai chilling out, and then back home!

    Very excited about it!!

Having finally booked it on Sunday we are going to the Hilton in Dubai for 5 nights and then on to the Maldives for 9 nights. Can't wait!! We leave on the Monday after our wedding on the Saturday and we're staying at an airport hotel ready for our early morning flight on the Tuesday.

Ooo...I'm sure you get married before me so you can give me some tips!!! Not sure about the rates because the travel agent sorted it all out and we got some extras because they'd messed us about over another holiday.

We've got ages yet but have been throwing some ideas around and I think we will go with Italy, either Sorrento or Sardinia, for 2 weeks. Will be so excited when we book it!!

We're thinking of Italy as well! Have you been to Sorrento before? It's absolutely beautiful! Very expensive one you're there, though, so make sure you take plenty of cash!

We're looking at Sicily as it's an area of Italy we've never been before!

No we've never been - that's why I want to do it for our honeymoon, as I've always wanted to go to Italy anyway and it's a pretty romantic place, especially Sorrento! So thought it would be perfect for a honeymoon, especially as because it's expensive we might not ever go otherwise, as it wouldn't necessarily be a 'normal' annual holiday we'd go on. For our honeymoon though we'd choose it so we can splash out just a little bit. ?

Those places all sound lovely. Have never been outside Europe yet (!) but hopefully will do soon.

We are doing a Californian road trip starting in San Fran to LA, via Vegas somehow. Only booked flights so far. Not going to be relaxing but H2B gets bored just lying about all day.

Hiya we are going to Reethi Beach in the Maldives the Sunday after our wedding for 10 days, we never have big holidays - so this will be trh trip of a lifetime ;-) Happy planning.

Top tip: try looking at Trip Advisor at the reviews section, tells you the real story on hotel resorts.

Have you been to Vegas before? We went just over a year ago and it was somewhere that had never really appealed to me but once there I loved it. It's so surreal but there's something for everyone. We didn't get to do everything we wanted but the Grand Canyon is a must (we did a helicopter ride and champagne breakfast), it's just amazing. Plus, the dancing fountains at the Bellagio had me mesmerised - I could've watched them all night lol. Really want to go back.....

We are going to Norway for a week and learning to ski.

Kittie, we did a roadtrip in the USA last summer and it was great! Takes lots of planning if you do it yourself, but well worth it. The organised coach tour brochures are a good place to look for ideas of routes though.

Iain and I have the urge to go somewhere really cold and huddle up in a nice log cabin away from the world! I've been thinking about Canada - there should be snow there in November.

I secretly want to re-create Wham's Last Christmas Video. Incidentally I now work with the dark haired girl who was George Michael's love interest in it. She's now blonde, but still looks just the same!
