Which Bridesmaid retailer would you recommend on a budget?

Magserelli, 9 August, 2008 at 11:00 Posted on Planning 0 9

Hi girls

I'm helping a friend to organise her wedding. She is on a tight budget c£50 dress of 4 bridesmaid. She likes Dessy but cannot afford the ££.

Q. Which online retailers / bay of e traders (e.g. the ones from China) would you recommend - who produce dessy style /qualty of dresses without the pricetag?

Which have you used?

Hoping you can help

M x?

Has she looked in Debenhams on one of their sale days? They have some lovely dresses in the Debut range.

Or even BHS in their wedding range.

I'd second the debenhams suggestion, I've just got mine from there - John Rocha ones rather than the actual bridesmaid range and they were reduced from £72 to £49 so an absolute bargain!

Id agree with everyone else. the high st shops do great dresses on a budget. I got mine from monsoon in the sale for £54 each. They were originally £180 each. Its amazing what you find when you have a good look!!

It will be hard to find a bm dress at £50 - if she can go to £100 then she will have more of a choice.

We do www.ginnis.com they start at £99

www.dessy.co.uk the Alfred Sung range start at £99

I would stay away from chinese supliers on e-bay as they are most cheap crap!!!

I got discount on the ones I got from Debenhams

I bought them in a Blue cross event and opened a Debenham's card at the same time and got another 10% off. ended up at around £75 each instead of £100.

But check out the other High Street stores.
