Which dress do you prefer? (update) Now with flash!

I prefer the second one. It's so classic and looks easier to wear.

I think both dresses are lovely, I'd wait until you have tried both dresses on and then decide, the look of the dress is important but your going to be wearing it for a day so you need to be comfortable in it. Is there someone that you trust to take with you when you try on the other dress, that will give you an honest opinion. Hope you choose the dress of your dreams. ?

The 2nd one is gorgeous, elegant & sophisticated. If you have the figure to carry it off then flaunt it!

Sorry to rock the boat but I much prefer the first one!

Hopefully I'll be able to carry it off, I'm a size 10 but I have had 2 children, so it's not what (or where) it used to be lol! The main thing I was worried about with the second dress was the v neck, wasn't sure if it looked like there would be to much boob on show but I guess I won't know for sure until I see it on me.

Personally I prefer the first one. I wouldn't feel special enough in the second whereas the first one just says "bride!" and has beautiful details.

What kind of wedding are you having? For a church I'd go with the first, for a manor house or beach I'd go with the 2nd. I think the plunging neck on the 2nd would be out of place in a church.

I really prefer the first one - the 2nd on is glam but the first is more romantic & bridal in my opinion.

But Im a fan of ballgown dresses so Im biased!

I like both of them...but I am swaying towards the first one. Its just more a classic "bridal" dress. The second one looks like a dress you would wear if you are getting married abroad. x

first one is what id think of if someone asked me to picture a wedding dress!!

The first dress is perfect for a church or civil ceremony wedding here but if you are going abroad for a beach style wedding then I would go for number 2 as it looks a lot lighter and cooler and easier to pack too.

The second is a destination dress, but it looks so easy to wear and for me thats a big plus as I can't imagine not being able to bop around like my usual crazy self on my wedding day. However totally agree the other looks more bridal and I'm pretty sure thats what my OH would like as he's very traditional, I'm just not sure that's what I'd like.

We are getting married in a hotel so a bit of clevage won't matter to much, just thinking my relatives might think its a tad low.

Just had a look at a photo of a lady in my dress as I don't have any. But it isn't quite as fitted it fits at the hips and then sort of falls more A lined and it isn't quite as low as that maybe you should check that out aswell ? It is a Berketex dress by Christina Sposa called Bali. Can't find a full length picture but if there is one near you why don't you try it on ?

I love them both- but agree that the 1st one is more 'here' wedding whereas the 2nd one is a beach one- more important is that you feel comfy and feel 'wow' in your dress ?

First one for me as I wouldn't have felt like a bride in the second dress. x

See how you feel after trying both. I do like the 2nd one but prefer the 1st. Also have a bop about in the shop in the second one you may find that it isnt as easy to dance in as you might think due to the cut of the skirt, more leg movement in the 1st I would imagine.

Arghhh! its so 50/50. I think I'm going to do as most of you have said, try the second one on and see how I feel about it then. You never know I might not like it at all.

Oldgal. I don't have the option of buying a dress from a shop now (unless its store sample) as its only 3 and a half months till the wedding! But looked your dress up it's beautiful, couldn't see the bottom of the dress in the pic I found, but the top was lovely.

Also was just thinking, it won't be too busty as I'm assuming I wouldn't be able to wear a bra and I'm only a small C so they look pretty small out of a bra if that makes sense?

I'll flash the pics once I've tried it on.

First one as for me it's more bridal (thats what I wanted - a big bridal dress but it's all personal choice) - I love the bodice on the first.

The second one is lovely

For me the second one isn't that special, sorry.

I went for the second one! I love it so much and I am so so happy as I feel beautiful in it. Instead of suffocated like I did in the first one.
