Which hand?

groomzilla, 7 November, 2011 at 11:13 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hi hitchers

Sorted out a beautiful wrist corsage on Sat for B2B and BM (she didn't want a bouquet) but which wrist does she wear it on? Obviously all the action is happening on the left with walking down the aisle and having the ring put on so is it the right so that one doesn't feel left out?

If you follow tradition, your B2B is likely to be shielded on the left by her dad (or whoever accompanies her), with her arm hooked through. This means that her left wrist is on show at the front with her right arm down by her side. Having said that, I would go for the right arm. It will be the hand that is given to you at top of the aisle and the one on show to the guests as she faces you. Also, not in the way for ring exchanging.

That sounds beautiful are you planning the whole wedding yourself ? or have you just decided you want to do certain things? my OH has the attention span of a fish and is happy to go along with whatever although he loved choosing his suits.

Thanks. Am planning it all myself. B2B said she would sort dress and leave it all to me. Am loving the wedding fairs! Obviously I consult her on big decisions like venue etc. Stayed at our venue overnight on Friday to do our menu tasting and it was all free!!
