Which shoes would you choose?

Hugo Brambles, 24 November, 2009 at 19:26 Posted on Planning 0 30

The brief is to get some comfy therefore low shoes as I'll be 5 months pregnant. My personal choice would be to get pointy toes but I know they won't go with the dress. The dress is similar to this one so you get an idea

One pair is dirt cheap but THAT worries me as to how comfortable they will be?

Hi!! Thanks for that! That's not my dress, its just similar. I looked my actual dress up to show my mum and I hated it!! Online it looks awful, had a bit of a wobble as to if I'd bought the right one. I have but just can't bare to look at it online again (plus my best friend forbid me after spending an hour talking me round!!)

Definetely the first ones. They go more with the classic style of the dress and are very pretty.

Really? 'A' everyone? A are £21.99 or best offer off e bay (item number **** for anyone interested).

B are my faveourite but are a whopping £82. ?

I'm just worried A will be not as wellmade and good quality and therefore not as comfortable.

I vote A too, i think the back support on the shoe is good. How about for the price, buy them, spend a week walking around the house in them and if they hurt/ you don't like them it's only £20 so buy a new pair.

WEES - a for me. if they're not comfortable, at least you've only spent £30 and not £80.

    Definitely A, and if they're cheap that's a bonus!

ETA: My most confortable pair of peep toes only cost me £17 (gotta love New Look!)

I love A, they're lovely. Mind you, with a long dress people might only see your toes - so if you wanted the shoes to blend into the dress I'd go for C.

I like A too - sorry i dont know when your wedding is but with being on your feet all day it might be worth buying 1/2 size bigger if you can and popping in some party feet as your feet are going to swell you can take party feel out and will give you some room. This is what im doing from experience though for me there is no way i am getting pregnant again, with a 3 year old and 20month twin boys ;o)!

Choices b and c are very pretty though the heel strap you may find uncomfortable once you have been in them all day - another option if you are not completely convinced are wedges they do some lovely ones now and are very comfy and spread your weight evenly so could be another research option for you??

Your dress is amazing and will make you look amazing especially with a little baby bump forming, i think you picked very well. congratulations on your pregnancy!
