Which was the recommended Panasonic breadmaker?

I asked about breadmakers a while ago and loads of people raved about a Panasonic one... well... we now have the money to get it and I cant remember which one it was!!!

    Ours is the 253 with nut/raisin dispenser. but looking on amazon i don't think they do it any more. they have a 255 which looks like a more modern version though

    i'd have a google though and see if the old style is still available, i cant imagine the new one is any better, it just looks a bit different

    I think its the Panasonic SD255 one (it's SD252 without the nut/raisin dispenser)

    I recommended mine to Sparkley the other day, the Panasonic SD252. It's very basic, but makes good bread. I don't think they sell it anymore but I'm sure there's the current equivilent which is about the same.

    Thanks all.... which.com seemed to have changed their reviews and reviewed a load of new ones and the only best buys are the Morphy Richards ones.... oh what to do!!

    either of the current ones are fab. one has a raisin/seed dispenser (i have this one) the other you have to add the seeds/ fruit when it beeps (if needed)

    there is a huge thread on MSE on why people love their pannys
