Which would you choose?

Fish & Chips or Hog Roast??

Our wedding is in March so not sure if its going to be warm enough for a poor man to cook a whole piggy outside!! But which would tempt you more? xx

    Hog roast for me.

You can have fish and chips more regularly so it's nice to have something a bit 'special'. Plus I love meat!

I'm not a big fan of fish, so I'd choose hog roast.

We had a hog roast at our home party and it went down really well. Don't worry about the chap being cold - he's going to have a bloomin great big heater right next to him!

Fish and chips. I love the idea of a hog roast but don't like food that looks too much like the animal. I can only just manage to cook a whole chicken ?

Hog roast - in rolls, with salads for me.

I always like the idea of fish and chips but they generally don't live up to my expectations and I tend to feel a bit sick afterwards. If you do go with them have the jars of pickled eggs too! I love those and always buy at least two every time I get the dissapointing fish and chips. Pickled eggs are always spectactular, never dissapointing.

We're having hog roast, roll, potatoes and salads in the afternoon, then fish and chips in the evening. Good taste you have! Smiley winking

The only thing to watch out for with fish and chips is that 100+ people eating it in a room can leave a hell of a stench for the rest of the evening so maybe some scented candles for after!

Aaaahhh ladies, its like a 50/50 split!! Well, wedding is in Cornwall, so we are thinking fish and chips, as the batter is cornish ale batter.

    Thanks for the feedback!! xx?

Hog roast, since with all the sides and salads, there's more choice for people and they can customise a bit. Or, if you're in Cornwall, what about a selection of pasties (traditional Cornish and a veggie version) with the same sort of salads and sides you get with a hog roast. Yummmm.

I'd probably prefer hog roast but would be happy with either.

I know quite a few people who share this thought!
