Whilst I don't think I could wish another person the pain and humilation that is being bounced around the NHS system as an older person with a non-life threatening injury

    I'm not really sure what you're saying - what's the market place stuff about?

    She won't be getting standard NHS care anyway.

    John Major was prime minister when the NHS internal market was introduced.

    That said, it was undoubtedly squarely in line with Thatcher's ideological position, so it's unlikely she'd have opposed it.

    Whilst I don't agree with everything she did, she wouldn't have put up with all the nonsense we have in this country today!
