We have asked my mum and OH's mum. I think traditionally it is the MOH and BM but i thought it would be nice for the mums.

I thought you could only have 2 flo?

We are having my Stepdad and OHs dad. We wanted both to be included and this felt like the right place.

We had our Mums. For a civil ceremony (no idea about church weddings) you must have 2 witnesses but can have up to 4.

Ive been thinking about this lately. We were witnesses a few years ago for our close friends so was thinking of asking them or I also thought of our mums but h2b has a step mum too so could be an issue. Its just another thing to stress about that should be simple!

We're also having our mums. I don't think they have a big role as such so thought it a nice touch

Am having my Step Sister and OH is having one of his best friends, we didnt want BM or MOH signing as they are already playing an important role on the day and wanted to include more people.

Us too, and our mums are doing readings so they are all involved, figured this will work well as FIL2b is shy and would hate to do a reading and although my Dad is very good at that sort of thing he has his speech so seemed like the best way to work it so all parents are involved

Looks like it'll just be our Best Man and the MOH. Vicar said there's only two spaces to sign on the forms. Boo.

We were going to have our Best Man and MOH, but as I've seemed to have mislaid my MOH we're thinking of asking my brother as the Best Man is also my H2B's brother and it will look 'even'.

My children as also 'signing' the register as well.

His mum and my younger son in law.

I was witness for my younger daughter's wedding and very much appreciated the "duty".

We felt our mums and dads were already involved enough being the father/mother of the bride/groom. So we've asked our brothers as they were the only family members not already involved. (I have one brother, H2B has one brother and one sister but his sister was already being my bridesmaid.)

This is what we're doing. We're having one of my close friends who I would have had as a BM but it just wasn't practical due to where she lives and OH's uncle.
