Who did your stationary? Any flashes? Printed inserts?

mummymrs2b, 4 April, 2012 at 17:53 Posted on Planning 0 9

I'm gonna get a price for it all if I can find a design I like or find someone to custom make. But also thinking about doing invites myself but would want printed inserts, where would I find just the printed inserts? X

I had considered making it but looking at prices I figured it wouldn't be that cost effective by the time I'd bought everything, time spent doing them and the stress it would cause me!

I also fell in love with a design so I'm ordering these. I can't recommend Inviting Designs and the sample I've already had is excellent quality (happy to post a pic if you want a real life view!). I've gone for the Dorchester range.

I used www.weddingchicks.com free templates, and vistaprint and created these beauties (with some detail edited out of the flash obviously):

I've used the same design to make our order of service, and will be using the bunting and birds design for our table plan and numbers too. For inserts I will be using the same bunting and birds design at the top of my information sheets, and printing them myself on good quality paper.

    I used https://www.pdacardandcraft.co.uk/

I was originally planning on printing invites at home, but went down the semi- DIY route. PDA have a huge range of cards, papers, textured papers, pocket folds etc. I got them to print the inserts, including the maps & wording. I also bought the pocketfolds from them, but I had to glue it all together & added ribbon, buckle, embelishments etc.

Dont have a pic, but looked far more professional than trying to print at home.

Suzanne at Pretty Wild on here is brilliant, especially if you want something a little bit out of the ordinary.
