nelops, 14 January, 2009 at 00:21 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 31

Im so sad & excited!! Feel like im going on holiday because Ive booked a hotel instead of staying at my mums 10 mins from the MEN arena! (I live in Blackpool, kids & pooches staying at grandmas though)

Can anyone tell me where the vodka bar is? I havnt been on a drinking session for 9 yrs round Manchester. Im a rubbish Mancunian!!

I'm soooooooooooo excited, really can't wait.

    Any idea who's supporting them?

I am going to the 02 Next weekend. Ha ha! We are having an afternoon booze up to cushion the blow of them being middleaged now! Or really how old that makes us feel!

We're going to the NIA on Saturday. I've got the Greatest Hits in my car refreshing my memory of all the lyrics ? I'm stupidly excited and have a feeling I'm going to embarrass my sisters ?

I'm seeing them at Newcastle arena on the 28th with my best mate, and am also stupidly excited and will probably embarrass myself ? I've been playing the CDs the last couple of days and my 2 year old daughter was dancing along, my H was not impressed!

    Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows what time the concert finishes!!!? I'm going with my sister on Saturday and she's panicking about train times and getting out of London.

    Thanks,

I was wondering this too - I presume it will be about 11ish but I have heard unless you are traveling by tube it is a nightmare to get away from.

I don't even know what time it starts I know the tickets say doors at 6.45 but presuming that means 7.30 start hours suport before they start gawd knows!

I went last Saturday to the Nia, last minute thing as my friend was let down. I had their first album although i couldnt remember the songs and kept having to ask if the song was new or old, lol. I thought they were good, esp Jordan, yum yum. Got some ok photos.

Sorry to bounce this, but I saw them last night in Newcastle and it was amazing. Some lovely woman swapped seats with us, so instead of 3rd row (which I was very happy with) we were right at the front. We also hung around after the show ? despite it being freezing, and Jordan came over to us and I got to touch his hands 4 times! ? They all looked great, got some fab photos.

I feel like I'm 12 all over again and my husband is also seeing a new side of me.

May I ask how you managed to get the seats in the middle on the floor? I could only get the side seats and that was buying them 2 days early too.

They're coming back in the Autumn so I want to plan ahead for good seats you see.... ?

My friend was near the front-she registered for Priority Booking (no idea how though) Don't think they hung around after-she would have passed out if Jordan touched her and possibly never washed again ?

I have no idea. I think poor ticket sales in Newcastle helped me. I didn't book until NYE and could either get 7th row, in the centre of the stage, or 3rd row at the side. I'm very glad we went for 3rd row and even more grateful to the wonderful woman (and her boyfriend) who swapped with us.

We hung around because we were never allowed to as 11 year olds. I was tempted to never wash my hand again, but then I had to change my daughter's nappy and wash her face this morning, so I figured I probably should. I couldn't think of a single thing to say though when he grabbed my hand, I just grinned like a loon ?

If they come back in Autumn, I am begging, borrowing and stealing to get the VIP meet and greet tickets.

They were flogging the Newcastle meet and greet ones on Ticketmaster for around £300. Hopefully they'll do the same next time, although I'm on their site as well now.
