Who was after a bay window pole / rail? (picture attached)

Peaches, 26 June, 2009 at 18:58 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 1

Can't remember who it was, but here is mine which has just been fitted in the house I lease out in the UK which was set alight by some barsteward. Yes, yes, I know I keep on about this SOB who broke in and set fire to the place, causing thousands and thousands of pounds worth of damage (I'll still cut off his bollox and saute them if I catch him), but doesn't the window look great now?!

I've got what I wanted ... chocolate coloured blinds with voiles to the ground and a bay window pole. Wasn't quite how they were supposed to be fitted (my Mum had to sew a tape on the voiles as the poles came with rings, and the voiles wouldn't have slid onto the rail like they did on the straight window rails), but never mind.

Anyhoo, wanted to show you the rail, whoever you were that was looking for them.

It wasn't me who asked originally but this is very helpful as I'm hankering after new curtains/nets for my bay window. Currently the nets are tacked up with drawing pins - how pikey is that? ?

Where did you get the rail from and was it easy to measure for it?

    It looks great BTW!

Sorry, been a bit side-tracked lately and forgot I'd posted this!

    I bought the rail(s) from http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/

Good luck with swapping a rail for the drawing pins!
