Who wears button holes?

Tinkers1, 11 February, 2011 at 19:16 Posted on Planning 0 6

How far do you go with button holes/corsages? Obviously Ive accounted for groom, best man, ushers and my dad and corsages for my mum and MIL but do grandparents also wear them?

If you're Dad's got one, then you should have one for your FIL as well, if you have one. I'd do brothers and sisters too. Basically, immediate family and the groomsmen.

Usually the main Bridal Party, Groom, Best Man, FOTB, FOTG, Ushers but you can have them for Grandparents & I think they like to have them as they were always given to all Guests in years gone by.

DF doesnt see his dad so he wont be there! Brothers are gonna be ushers and sisters are bridesmaids so thats them covered. Will probably do grandparents too then!

I remember when I was younger that everyone wore a button hole. The best man would stand outside the venue with a big box of carnations! x
