Who's up and what are you doing with the day?

Sunset21, 31 May, 2009 at 08:14 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 32

I was woken by MissSun and we're sat watching CBeebies. Going to my parents for dinner today and sunning myself hopefully. Diet starts in earnest again for my next holiday so I'm not going to gorge myself, you heard it here first lol!

What's everyone up to?

Definitely not dieting ? Went out for dinner on Friday night and curry last night! Where's the hols?

H wants to go to Bristol to buy a tent, sleeping bags etc for Glastonbury. I want to study and go for a long bike ride in the sun. I guess we could do both!

We had a curry on bank holiday monday, was supposed to be the 'last supper' before the diet but sadly it's all gone to pot. We have 18 weeks to lose 1lb a week which is totally do-able if we can get our arses into gear. Algarve.

We went to Bristol yesterday, was really lovely. MissSun spent ages playing in the fountains in Cabot Circus.

I was up with the birds with the youngest, having had the eldest climb over me and pull my hair most of the night, so I am in a fab mood this morning! Its a sunny day here finally, so may take a wander down onto the beach with the kids later on

Paul McKenna can make you thin! I'm done with dieting and am much happier (and slimmer) for it.

This outdoor place is in Brislington. I lived in Bristol for years but only know north & central and I have packed the maps even though we don't move house for weeks yet. Agh! I want H to go on his own really but I want to go to Cribbs afterwards so will tag along. I loooved Cabot Circus.

I'm up as H woke me to say we had won the lottery (we do it online so he gets text messages if we win). He couldn't remember our user name so woke me so I could sign in to our account. We had won £10! His justification was "well we could have been rich"

I've sent him downstairs to make me a coffee as compensation for waking me up. ?

No plans for today - I'll probably crash out in the garden. We're going out for Italian tonight.

    Morning Sun,

Not got a lot planned today, HD is getting installed between 9 and 10, I thought that it was yesterday, but I got the day wrong ? MrK is home from his weekend away, so looking forward to that, might get taken out for dinner if he is not too rough. Going to meet LaP for a wee while at the train station where she crosses over, so that will be nice as well and I reckon that I will take some clothes back that I bought yesterday

I'm naffed off - woken up early on my last lie in before I go back to work tomorrow - bloody typical ? Had a nightmare about work (we're going to be relocated in July - new line management and moving from our office to the other depts open plan office....) Anyhooo, I dreamt that my team members were all sat amongst people we know over there after we were all lined up and a big deal was made of giving one of my products over to my colleague (who in RL actually fears the product!) and I was sat amongst the admin team. Then I had an argument with my new line manager and walked out.... Was far too traumatic so I had to get up before 8am ?

Anyway, swimming later followed by the pub followed by a kids party which my youngest has been invited to. Oh joy!

If you don't get what you need there Doughnut Attwoolls are very good, and there's a great place one Hotwells Road too.

We went to 'all you can eat' at Cosmo last night, so am planning on dragging myself to kickboxing at 10am. Not sure about the rest of the day, but husband wants to go and find the Cricklade railway.

At work today, but did hit the Pimms a bit hard yesterday afternoon, so it's quite nice to be sat on my own in silence in an air-conditioned office at the moment

Might go out for a drive later, or hit the spa, but am supposed to be going out for a run. If I do, it'll be when it's cooled down a lt - I'm hopeless in the heat/humidity

I know some of the Attwools family ?

Kellfi, HD will take about 10 mins if you already have sky. It's fab, we had it installed a month or so ago.

I love Cabot Circus too Doughnut, I like the fact that it's not completely undercover, which is what I was expecting.

Morning all. I've been up since my husband's alarm clock went off at 6.30am. He's gone Airsofting (bit like paintballing apparently) and I had hoped to go back to sleep but no such joy!

I think I'm off to the inlaws at about lunchtime so I'm just chilling out watching the news and mooching online till then.

Not yet. We're still planning on moving proper away, but have only done the interim step so far, which was selling the house and moving into rented.

There were lots of hen dos in there last night. I can't imagine the night lasting much longer after a few hours in Cosmo ?

Im up, but dont want to be, my impacted wisdom tooth is killing me so I couldnt sleep. I think the plan is to go back to bed some time soon. Need to wait til H is up so he can find the stronger pain killers (he's hidden them somewhere I can't seem to find)

Have been awake and reading for about an hour. It's very peaceful at the moment (my bedroom is onto a main road, so this isn't always the case).

I've got to do some laundry and housework today but other than that I have no plans at all. I'm not sure if that's good or sad ?

We're going to paint the garden fence today. Well, I say "we" but I'm not actually going to be doing it - OH and his brother will be! I'm hoping to sit in the garden and enjoy the sunshine.

One of our friends (who didn't come last night) ended up lying on the living room floor in agony after his last visit ?

    ?

We went to Lava Lounge afterwards for shots, then on to Reflex. There were only about 5 of us left by then, yawning into our freebie Lambrinis! It was the closing night and it was dead in there. I wonder what hideousness they're going to turn it in to?

Mr Majix is away camping this weekend, so I was expecting to be up and child wrangling from early doors. Junior obviously decided to take pity on me and slept in til 8.30 for the first time in about 6 months ?

Weather is hot and sunny here already today, but I think me might have had a bit too much of it at a friends barbecue yesterday. So our plans are lounge for a few hours, go to the pictures to see Night at the Museum 2 at lunchtime, and then later on this afternoon I might let the kids crack out the waterbombs and water pistols. Whilst I hide in the conservatory with the door locked ?

I have been up since 8 when my youngest woke up, so fairly good for a weekend. Today I have to make decorations to turn the inside of my house into a pirate ship for youngests 4th birthday tomorrow as he is having a pirate party. So will be making bunting, portholes and skull and crossbone stuff but will involve my mum who is staying (and who is an artist) and my grown up daughters. I also have to make a birthday cake and shortbread for 'ships biscuits', do a pile of ironing and try and get some more decorating doing as I have almost finished painting the bathroom.

Might get into the garden as well at some point, eldest daughter seems to have turned into Alan Titchmarsh and is always round here doing my garden it is looking ace out there - I'm not complaining!

Right, off to tidy up, have a good day everyone!

I've been up for hours. My youngest is teething madly so after the 4th wake up last night, I took him into bed with me (H was out). We have a superking bed and he still managed to have me hanging off the edge all night! His older brother woke at some point in the night and climbed in too. I was woken at 6.45am to the sound of banging - it was the one year old banging my shoe on the patio doors off the bedroom! It was quite funny because he'd climbed out of bed and got behind the floor length curtains and was banging away happily with the heel of a shoe he found under the bed. ?

Oh I forgot to say what we're doing with our day! Housework and washing this morning, late lunch/early dinner at the in laws later, with lots of time in the garden keeping an eye on the boys.

What a glorious sunny day again! Have to do some housework today - will blitz bathroom and kitchen then shove everything else into a cupboard, I'm not spending all day cleaning!

Will stroll down to London Bridge at about 4pm as am going to Gatwick to surprise SB off his flight this evening - he's been working away for TWO weeks, it's been forever!

I've been up since 7.30 with the boychild. We're just back from collecting the girl from a sleepover and have church in just over half an hour. After that, packing and essay writing are the order of the day. We get the keys to our new house tomorrow and we're nowhere near ready to move ?. In my defence, I've only just finished my Uni exams (last one on Friday just gone).

I'm full of cold and have been since wednedsay. Won't be doing much as an hour out of bed means a couple of hours sleeping to get some energy back ☹️

Might get h to go out and but season 3 of the wire - he wants to watch it on bbc before we watch it on dvd but the bbc aren't showing the next season for a couple of weeks and I want it now <stomps feet>
