Did you like them before she said that or did you were you looking for someone to make those noises as you weren't too sure yourself?

I thought they looked great in the photos and if I remember your prototypes had blue ribbon not ivory which you said you will use on the real ones.

They will look great if you decide you don't like them in the end don't use them!

I sort of liked them before i showed her them. And as shes arty and offred to help with some decor I thought id show them to her.... i'm prolly imagining her response....lol. I'll work on 'em.

We all loved them, so if she doesn't then does it really matter?

Like Moomin said, she's just jealous/disgruntled, maybe because she wanted to help and have more input in church decs, if she said she'll do it for you.

I think sometimes we need a little reassurance about something, hence asking someone else's opinion, and then when we get their response we wish we hadn't asked.

I do this a lot. I'll ask someone's opinion simply because I'm hoping they'll agree with what my thoughts are but then when they give their opinion I don't like it lol. I'm coming to the conclusion that it's sometimes best to keep things to yourself - if you like something then that's the most important thing. I'm always seeking approval from other people which has to stop!

Have you posted them on here? Just wondered if you wanted us to give an opinion? You know we are honest ?

If you like them then try and not let it bother you, but if you can see ways to improve them, then great. it is only a prototype. I'm not an arty person but like doing crafty things and as I go on I get better and also it's the fact you're making them yourself. that is what will make them so special!

She's probably just taken aback at the fact that you didn't need her help to come up with the ideaa and the fact that you "only" have 3 months to go she thinks you don't have that much left for her to help you with.
