why does no-one rsvp?

Cos people are a pain in the ass thats why!!

When I have to chase people up and ask if they are coming or not, they are replying with 'Oh yes we are definately coming but we are going to send you a little acceptance card'......................

Sod the card, tell me if your coming or not, I need numbers ASAP, or reply by the ruddy website that I especially made for you to do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Presumably you have given them a date to rsvp by? Thats when you will have heard whos coming. People look at the website for nosiness, to get a hint of whats to come...... they arent looking at it exclusively to rsvp.

so calm the beans.......... just be pleased folks are taking an interest.

UGH i agree! guests are poo! we go through so much to organise a fantastic day and they don't have the decency to confirm their attendance! even when i have sent them stamped postcards on which they can reply. dont worry you arent being a bridezilla at all. and i feel weird chasing people up, as if i'm begging them to come, but i know i'm going to have to do it with at least half my guest list. ARRRRRGH! ANNOYED! xx

Hehe yeah I hate that! Our RSVP date for the day guests has gone by but there are still a few stragglers. I chased one person who said they wouldnt know until they knew whether they were down for a work shift on the day of the wedding or not! Erm yes, Im happy to wait until September until you tell me whether you can come, so I have no time to find a replacement if you cant.....not!

And obviously he isnt that bothered about coming if hes not prepared to book a day off now for it!

Feel like taking back my invite.... ? Maybe Im gettin all Bridezilla now though...x

Our invites went out a month ago - we have hardly heard from anyone.

im not chasing anyone - got enough to worry about and deal with, if they cant have the courtesy to let me know then id rather they didnt come. its not hard to let someone know even if its by text, call, email, webposting etc - it doesnt always have to be a card in the post!
