Why is it....

Broody_wife, 11 November, 2009 at 07:22 Posted on Planning 0 11

...That after having a few days off work to relax you always feel worse when you go back? I took Monday/Tuesday off and over the weekend my Eczema played up really bad, as I was stressing out, and today I feel like falling asleep at my desk!! ☹️ I need some motivation to stay awake!!! x

No motivation from me i'm afraid. I was planning a nice lay in today. But the builders are working in the shop that my flat is above. My room is shaking, my pictures fell off my shelf! I'm convinced my room is going to fall down! I've sent my landlord a grumpy text! Wow you start work early!

I too would have sent the landlord a grumpy text. Why do builders etc have to start work so early?!?!x

I live with one! I do wonder and tried to hint when he gets up early to do a little quiter as he wakes me up!

But he was later this morning so he fed the dog etc and I got to relax a bit more and a brew was waiting for me for a change. In work all day totally knackered. Tablets really kicking in now just want sleep 24/7. H cleaning carpets tonight and I am sorting stuff to put away into the attic. So nothing exciting here. Oh but true blood on at 10, if I am still awake??

I plan on being alseep by 8 tonight i'm sooooo tired, but will probably end up sitting on here all night instead. lol x

As much as the early start sounds horrid, i think i would like it and finish early. Hmm... i would be in by 8 every night!

It's not as bad as you might think. It's getting up on the dreary mornings like this morning thats the killer!!! During the summer I love finishing early!! While everyone else is still in work, I walk in the sun for a while. There's a bus stop right outside my work, but During the summer I tend to walk to the one which is half an hour away!! My day goes quite quick as well in the afternoons, as I take my lunch at 12. So I only have 2 hours left when I come back from lunch!! lol

I only work 35 hrs a week!! Why would you not get home till 8 if you started early Mrs Spink? x

I'm early on the go as well - I get up at 5.40am for work - start at 7.20am but don't finish until about 3.45pm earliest. Tonight I'll work until 4.15pm then I've got to teach for an hour tonight (and Tuesdays and thursdays) so basically its all go, go, go until I hit my bed and get ready to go again the next day....lol. Suppose well all feel like this though

I missed the word 'bed' out my my sentence! I meant I would be in bed by 8 if I had to be up that early.

Hi Bailey, I'm the same... my Eczema has started playing up recently (only 4 months to go now!). My hands look awful! I don't know what to do to calm them down. We're pretty on top of things for the wedding. & I'm worried that if I try & take time off to stop stressing out I'll end up making them worse! Catch 22!!! x

Hey Joanne, I use Hydrocortisone cream on mine and it is only now starting to help. E45 cream made it sooooo much worse, I also have something called Double Base which my doctor prescribed as it's also a barrier cream. if your hands are really bad, investing in a barrier cream can help as it will protect your hands when you do the dishes etc. If you can relax then taking time off may help. I just couldn't relax at all. Also, If I go for a sunbed for a few mins it seems to help clear it up, Something to do witht he UV lights?

Hopefully you can get it sorted before your big day!! x
