I'm hoping to catch some of the game today but am v busy, plus may get annoyed at the Roddick bias.

I'm watching, I really hope that Murray can do it, if Roddick wins I will be equally as happy as I like them both.

I agree about Federer being a man on a mission but the final will be entertaining.

He does always look a bit sullen!

I wonder why there are so many empty seats? They should bring them in from the hill to fill them up if they are still empty after so long.

I'm not sure I can cope with another tic-tac-toe match like Wednesday. ?

the senior school my son is going to in September supplies ball boys for Wimbledon.

Son is desperate to be one (but I think he will have to wait until he about 15/16?)

I'm watching via the web but over a citrix session with no sound. It's a bit grainy and keeps speeding up like on fast forward! Also it keeps hanging my Citris Session.

I wish! - no it is a school in the Kingston Borough though (not grammar,just normal comp, but have shown themselves to provide good calibre of boys there - apparently last year a couple were ball boys in the mens final!)

I think they take ball boys and girls from a few schools nearby.

I know the students at Roehampton do lots of jobs like court covering etc - my brother sold tickets one year, and his mates were court coverers. I watched England get knocked out of Euro 96 in the court coverers' hut ?

Come on Murray. I've not really noticed any anti Murray stuff though, not really. there were a few numpties who got their knickers in a knot about his clearly tongue in cheek comment about the footie a few years back. That's the only thing I've ever seen - and that was blatant codswallop by Daily Mail types ?

I do wish he wasn't called Murray though. ? everytime I hear his voice I can hear 'Murray mints, Murray mints, too good to hurry mints' rolling around in my brain. Murray mints were grim, weren't they (or am I the only one old enough to remember them?)

Oh the dreams of an 11 year old! - I hope he realises this one, he loves playing and watching tennis.

There was a documentary on years ago about being a ball boy, I think it was on CBBC. This very official looking man inspected everyone's trainers on the first day and if they were dirty, they were immediately sent home. It seems really hard work (eta, I mean being a ball boy, not having clean trainers! ?)

I love Murray Mints but my mum can't eat them after having that song sung at her for years at school (she was born in 1946 so it's been around for years!)

My friends sister was a ball girl. Had a great time. I'd be too nervous would trip up or not catch ball when thrown at me ?

I'm another anti murray and haven't gone quiet (have been anti murray since he was asked who he wanted to win the world cup and he said anyone but England).
