Would this be made with fizzy water, soda water or lemonade?

It's meant to be soda water. Wine & lemonade is just wrong.

But spritzers full stop are just wrong in my book. Why would you dilute wine? why? Why? WHY? ?

I believe it should be soda water. I always ask for wine and soda in a bar though to save any confusion.

I make them at home with fizzy water - tends to be a long drink in the summer with heaps and heaps of ice

As bar staff I always asked whether they wanted wine or lemonade as it means different things to different people, however I'm with sparks and would never dilute wine ?
