Wooden Tags with **Flash**

Excuse the rather bad picture but i am wanting to have wooden heart tags with the guests names on wrapped around a scroll poem for the name tags/favours. The only problem is I have no idea how to write the guests names on the wood. I have bought a burner pen thing but it is too hard to write on as you cannot put your fingers at the end like a pen.

Any ideas will be very much appreciated!

    I bought individual letter stamps and it does take a while but i think it's worth it...

    Hiya,

    They look lovely. Were your hearts wood and if so did you have to paint them? Where did you buy the stamps from?

    Why dont you paint the names on with a thin paint brush and maybe some gold or silver paint? you could make it look all nice with cursive writing

    Hi Rosalynd,

    I wanted them to be burnt on or carved as the darker shade comes through.

    I will definitely look in to painting them on though.

    I've done writing before with one of those burners. It's not easy but it can be done.

    Maybe it was because a bought quite a cheap pyrography thing off ebay that it didn't work out well. I will have to keep trying!

    You're not hounding it's fine!

    they were plain wood and i painted them white just so they matched better with other items i'm hoping to have but i dont think you 'need' to paint them. The letter stamps were from the papermill and i'm sure they were only £2-£3
