Congrats! oh a woodland theme sounds brilliant. You could name your tables after famous forests, trees or wild flowers. You could maybe think of wild animals or birds akin to fairy tales.

Lots of greens, golds, bronzes if its an autumnal theme, or pastel colours for a spring/summer wedding......

you just gotta get googling, girl!

Congratulations and welcome to hitched. I have no ideas for woodland theme - plenty for country tea party though as thats a theme I wanted (but not having)

Anyway hopefully someone will be along soon who can help. In the meantime I dont want to send you to other forums, but when I just googled it for you all the results were from other wedding forums where people were having the same. Would love you to stick around on here, but it wouldnt hurt to read what other people are having, pinch some ideas etc.

Depends what time of year you are getting married

Winter - silvery twigs, sparkly, or evergreens, holly etc

Spring - bulbs in pots, lots of moss, blossoms

Summer - lots of greenery, garlands trailing everywhere,

Autumn - oranges, browns, berries, hops

    Hi there,

not having a woodland theme as such, but as we're getting married in Novemeber - our theme is leaves which is quite similar.

So we're having invitations with leaves on the front:

My brother's designed them - we're really pleased - this is just a mock up, we need to get them printed soon.

Also I'm having a leaf headband which was made by White Fairy who's a HIB on here....

Sorry it's not a very good pic. The headband is gorgeous - it's made from a vintage brooch.

Also I'm having vintage leaf shaped brooches fastening ribbons around the tiers of the wedding cake.

And the tables will be named after trees.

Hope that's been of some help. Oh and our colours are burnt orange and royal blue.

    Ali x

I went to a wedding in Alnwick Gardens a few years ago - the meal & evening reception were in the tree house. They had tables named after trees, leaf shaped place cards and also potted cuttings as favours.

You could go for a table decoration made of a candle in the middle with pine cones, conkers and leaves surrounding the candle. All in their natural brown and orangey colours.
