Me too - we're hoping it will do because the house we want is empty, and we have an investment buyer... with cash!!

I'm wondering where the catch is...

I feel like leaving clothes on the bathroom floor in celebration!

I hope everyone else sells soon too.

I wish you all a cash investment buyer, and no onward chain. [crosses fingers for everyone]

    ?

Thanks for all of the feedback on the listings etc that you gave me. I'd probably have had about 4 people look at it and hate it if it weren't for you lot!

Was yours the one that's been on for 18 months HH? I forget with all the buyers and sellers on here.

Ours has been on less than a fortnight and MrSun is already on about reducing it.

    Fabulous news!

How I would love to put ours on the market, have an investment buyer buy it for a good price then we can buy a fully decorated house. <sigh>

I have told him to hang on, don't worry about that ?

stupid thing is we priced it slightly higher to get a slow sale but now it's on we want rid of it and are getting impatient. We're giving it at least a month and then we'll possibly drop it by about 3k, it's not a lot but it'll take it into a different price bracket IYSWIM

Woo hoo, go HH! Be a devil, cook fish for tea tonight! Spread The Ikey's toys across your living room floor, and leave your dirty clothes on the bedroom floor and don't make the bed.

Oooooh just heard from the agents of the property we're after - it's a probate sale so the lady needs to run it past her two brothers, but she seemed pleased by the offer and the agents are of the opinion that it looks likely for a deal. He will confirm tomorrow.

The fact that there is no danger of a chain collapse is a major plus point! They had an offer before where the chain collapsed apparently and so we look like the buyers they are looking for!

    Tentative yay!

    [crosses fingers again]
