Wording for celebratory drinks

We are getting married in a registry office in a tiny ceremony for close family as our main celebration will be abroad. However we would like to invite people for celebratory drinks in the evening of the first ceremony the day before we fly. Can anyone recommend some nice wordings for small invites that we can send out. Its a strange way of doing things but we appreciate alot of people cant afford our wedding abroad however we would still like to be surrounded by family.

We have decided to celebrate our love by flying off to the far-off shores of (country) on (date) to have with a small ceremony just between ourselves (or with immediate family/whatever.) We'll be dotting the i's and crossing the t's on (date) in (town) and would love it if you would join us at (location) for a glass of something bubbly to celebrate.
