Wording on Invites - Contributions towards Honeymoon

Hi -

We are going to ask people to contribute to Thomson, towards out honeymoon, but are just considering how to word the note on the invites. We dont want to sound too forward or cheeky, but there is a deadline we need people to adhere to.

We currently have -

'We have booked our honeymoon with Thomson, and our booking ref is...................... . contributions can be made over the phone with your card, or at any branch in person with cash or cards. Please quote our reference no ...................... Your gift needs to be paid to Thomson by.............................

any suggestions/thoughts welcome. Anyone else done this? If so, what was your wordings? We dont want to be too busineslike but really need people to be aware of the deadline, as its three months before the wedding.

'We hope you can come and share our day with us, as you know we've already got everything we could need to start our married life. However we have booked our honeymoon with Thomson and if you'd like to give us a gift, a contribution towards this would be very greatly appreciated!

Our booking ref is...................... . contributions can be made over the phone with your card, or at any branch in person with cash or cards. Please quote our reference no ...................... There is a deadline on this as the total needs to be paid to Thomson by............................."

Or something along those lines?
