We are going to the local Chinese restaurant for lunch, as we close for Christmas at lunchtime on the 23rd. We are also all paying for ourselves, again!

My friend's company is having hers a at a huge well known nightclub in London. All expenses paid!

We are public sector so we pay for our own and its in a local pub to the office.

See Spangler that's what I thought they would arrange. Other work do's I've been to have been a nice meal and a few drinks.

I think it's just a ploy for the directors to try and the new receptionist.

We have one every year, usually a late lunch that extends into afternoon/evening drinking at a nearby "old man's" pub.

Flow - that sounds like so much fun!

We also close at lunchtime on the 23rd. We normally go to a restaurant in town, with a stop en route for a drink or two. Play a couple of games, do our Secret Santa and then the youngies go on to town and the oldies go home.

This year, we're trying a new restaurant which is slightly out of town, but close to the house of one of the senior partners, so we're stopping at his for drinks first and may end up back there afterwards for port!

We're off to Road House, Covent Garden. There's about 25 of us going and we've paid a fiver for a private area with tapas. Have emailed "the boss" to see if he would like to donate to the drinks fund, but we are still waiting for a reply.......that was 5 weeks ago lol!
