Worried.

SoontobeMrsR, 20 September, 2014 at 05:54 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 9

Just need to vent. It's 5:30 on my wedding day and last night I cried myself to sleep.
The entire family arrived at the venue. Mine and OH's all was going well until my mum and my neice got so drunk they made complete idiots of themselves.
I'm so worried they will repeat it today at the actual wedding!!!
So sorry this post is wedding related but it's more about families really and how they seem to embarrass me. I feel dreadful writing this. Maybe I'm just being nasty and a bridezilla. I just don't know.
Any help to gain perspective will be gratefully received.

Aaw poor you. But I would very much doubt they would repeat it today. They're prob going to be very embarrassed themselves and maybe feel rather rough too.

have a wonderful day enjoying the occasion of your wedding day. Xxx

    Happy wedding day Smiley smile

I am sure that they will be on their best behaviour today and they will probably be nursing sore heads anyway.

Just focus of having a wonderful day with your husband!

Try not to worry, you can't control what other people do on the day. I had a bit of a meltdown on our day because most of the day guests went back to their hotels and didn't turn up to the reception until the evening guests arrived, when we had some things planned to do with them, but honestly you will be enjoying it too much to let it bother you for long. Maybe have a bridesmaid or usher on hand to remove anyone who starts causing trouble? Have a great day x

I completely agree with this. One of our guests, the GF of one of my friends, got so hammered that she was up to all sorts and by the end of the night the bar staff were feeding her peanuts to try to sober her up. We knew nothing about it until she texted me next day apologising for her behaviour!

    Have a wonderful day!

Enjoy your wedding day and don't let anything get to you. It really is over very quickly and you probably won't notice it even if they do repeat last night! Have fun.
