I've done a lot of diy-ing for the wedding too, mainly because I couldn't afford the things I wanted if I didn't make them myself and I've impressed myself with a lot of it didn't realise I was a crafty person!

I think it's a lot easier than it looks and once you get into it you'll be great! Everything will be personal to you and exactly how you want it to look xx

Show us some pictures if you want to, but I am sure your diy is lovely!

A lot of brides diy to save money or just because they enjoy it. I have made my invitations, reserved seating signs, order of ceremony, initial letters, a photo frame, paper flowers and more!

As long as you enjoy it, carry on xxx

I'm mainly DIYing cus I love crafting stuff but it's pretty obvious it's handmade stuff which is the look I am going for really with a rustic theme.

I will try add some pics when I can work out how to do it on my phone :-)

I worry about this too, but I think your guests will appreciate a personal touch. You should definitely flash.

I had the same wobble about my DIY stuff! But now I'm really proud of them & I've had loads of complements from people, I've done invites, place names, table names, seating plan, heaven's table photo frame, centrepieces, table runners, other hitchers might remember me for my 100 metre homemade bunting! Yours look lovely you should be really proud of them, and it all looks lovely together ?

I think they look great! Can I ask how you did the bunting for the invitation? That's something I wanted to do but worried it was too tricky!

These all look amazing! You have nothing to worry about at all! I love homemade stuff at weddings, it adds such a personal touch to things. We have a handmade love heart in the back of our campers, and our bunting is also handmade. Think of all the memories you'll have from them after the big day!

    Thanks everyone :-)

the he bunting is kinda fiddley but basically to got a piece of string and then rectangles of ribbon. Then used a glue gun to stick the centre of the rectangle to the string. It's dries so quickly so can't do all at once. The made a triangle of glue on the bottom part and folded the ribbon over. Then once the glue dried I cut the triangle shape. Does that make sense?

I made the the table plan and table runners this weeks Smiley smilefeeling much better about things now thank you ladies and gents

    xx

I'm in awe of anyone doing DIY - I'm rubbish at such things and just get stressed over it all, wanting to throw the whole lot away in a tantrum!

So....you won't get any criticism from me!!
