Worst present ever...

My Nan once bought me a pair of leather boots, lovely, except the only ones in my size were the display pair. The left boot had been in a box for six months, while the right was in the shop window. Right boot was completely different colour than left boot. Bless her, the thought was lovely!

For our first Christmas together OH agreed that we could exchange one present prior to Christmas day as we wouldn't be together on the actual day. We swapped, OH unwrapped some very nice coffee beans I had bought him for his coffee machine. I opened mine and it was a silver Tiffany charm bracelet. I felt awful.

My worst gift ever was a stuffed squirrel. A real taxidermy one. From ebay.

In the gifter's defence it was part of an ongoing crap Christmas gift contest. That year I got him a Cliff Richard DVD and calendar, so he clearly won. The following year I got him a pair of pink and white singing toy dogs, who sung the boy and girl parts of "don't go breaking my heart" in time, yapped their mouths, and nodded their heads in time to the music. They were unbeatable. Or so I thought until I saw Panj's (was it Panj?) diamanté tie necklace.
