Mr MD is also away so I am having a Linda McCartney pie with oven chips I have just rushed out and bought from Sainsbuggers. And a bar of chocolate that accidently fell into my basket

Just eaten garlic chestnut mushrooms with cheese sauce tagliatelle - yummy but now have garlic breath for my aerobics class!

Mushroom soup which seems most unseasonal in this weather, but can at least be prepared in advance so I don't have to miss a minute of The Apprentice. ?

We are having salmon with potato salad and salad - yum!!

We had pasta with tuna and roast veg sauce. Very nice it was too.

We had baked salmon with leftovers from a lunch a I hosted - tomato & basil pasta, roasted couscous, hummous and gin.

There may well be some vanilla cheesecake left over too, hidden at the back of the fridge. I'm planning on eating it in secret, when MrQ goes for a run as there isn't quite enough for 2....bad wife.

Peri peri chicken and salad. (virtuousness ruined by pre-H return snack of cheese and crisps). NO alcohol though, clever me.

I'm having wot Hole's having. We are dinner twinnies.

We had parsnip, cauliflower and mushroom korma which was bloomin lovely.

Have also just scoffed a praline flake - mmmm!

We had shepherd's pie with cabbage. It was lovely.
