they dont live that far away so we have no need to stay there so i doubt it would come up in future.

the vibrator thread was a bit odd i thought, since it seemed she hadnt changed the sheets after sleeping in them which seems a bit skanky to me. i m also unsure as to why one would "hide" a vibrator in a bed, when it could go in a zipped up overnight bag. hey ho.

I am 30 and only got married in August. My parents are the old fashioned type and whenever hubby and I came to stay we were restricted to separate bedrooms. We have had sex there loads of times and the sneaking around adds to the thrill. When we go back this Christmas, for the first time we'll be allowed to share a bed and we've joked that we'll have sex really loudly now that we are legally allowed to do it in their eyes, but actually think we'll too embarrassed to have sex at all ?

Well when i was younger i did,I used to sneak guys in have sex then kick them back out before they were offered breakfast.

I do not stay with family now but when i got with h i did have sex at his parents house very quietly.

I did a few times when I lived there, and H and I did a couple of christmas' ago after a few too many glasses of wine - but everyone was fast asleep by then and we were very very quiet!

When I was younger I did but I never need to stay at my parents anymore. Most recently was at H2B's parents house when we were first together as he was staying there after coming back from living abroad. We were always as quiet as mice though!

Yes, frequently when I was 16/17 and had just met (now) H. These days we don't usually although we do stay there a lot.

The only time I have done it when my parents were in was one Christmas when I was married & my H & I stayed over.

I have but wouldn't now unless they weren't in. Unfortunately we don't often get a sudden urge these days so I'm sure we could wait until we got back home ?

I have done because when ex and I were in the middle of a house move we spent a few months living with them.

My parents own and live in a 4 storey quest house and OH and I have often stayed over at times and have had sex, we've been on totally different floors so i've never seen it as an issue.

Not sure i'd feel so comfortable if they were in the room next door though.

If they were out yes but not if they were in , even when we lived there when we were first married it was a no no for me as my bed backed onto the wall their bed was on and they may have heard

My parents live at the other end of the country from us, so our stays with them are always a week or more. So yes! But there is also the luxury at their house that the guest bedroom is pretty cut off from the rest of the house so no one would hear.

The ILs are different so such a degree that we now avoid staying at their house when we visit. The room they put us in is separated from their room by only a very thin wall and has the crappest bed in the world that squeaks like buggery at the slightest possible movement. It also just feels odd even sharing a bed there as we weren't allowed to until we were married a year and a half ago. There was never any of that at my parents' house.

For me personally, it was their house, and I knew that they would not have liked me to have sex until I was in a very stable or married relationship. They trusted me and I didn't want to abuse their trust by sneaking people in etc. It was more about respecting their feelings on the issue, and this lasted after their deaths. I just wouldn't have felt "right" about it.

I did with one partner before I finally moved out. My parents allowed him to move in for about a year eventually. However, it was a long term relationship that started in my teens and ended when I was 30. I think for my parents that made a difference. They would not have been happy with me having numerous, casual partners staying over in the home, and tbh I wouldn't have done that anyway.
