Yes! we are on a strict budget so the first thing we did was write a list of everything you will need and then list it in order of importance, photos and the clothes is what takes a massive amount of budget so start looking for the best prices photographers and start having a look online at local dress shops to find out whos having a sample sale, Asking a friend who is good with a camera to take pics will save loads. cake, make-up and hair can all be done by a friend.

Yes can be done - the only thing I would say is I think part of the reason my budget is blown is as I really wanted to get married this year, so got the venue sent the save the dates - For me to have done it on a budget would have taken time to think and really shop around. Might just be me but going quickly caused the budget to go up - No regrets we are lucky we can find the cash - just a consideration
