Wrap Dresses

JuneBride16, 15 August, 2015 at 12:49 Posted on Planning 0 12

Has anyone bought wrap dresses? Please share your pictures.

I went with my bridesmaid and tried on a wrap dress today, which we really liked. where is the best place to get a wrap dress from with the best quality in the Mori Lee cantelope colour?

Also I have seen that some company’s sell a tulle version, has anyone tried this on? does it look more formal than just the jersey material?

I bought a dress for myself from inonclothing. It is lovely, good quality and lots of lovely colours. I am considering getting them for my bridesmaids as well. The service was good and quick, no problems at all.

I found two birds first but they were out of my budget. They have even more choice though.

Thanks. I was hoping to spend a lot less than that though. I was looking at The Dainty Yard on Etsy but I'm worried about ordering online.

M&S did have a few on their website. Think they were around £50 if that's a bit more budget-friendly?

Avoid the BHS ones the material is really cheap looking and shiny, they did look ok on but they still looked cheap to me so I returned them

I'm tempted by this one on Etsy but think it might be a bit darker then what I was looking for.

I've got Dessy twist dresses with the chiffon overlay. In my opinion they look so much nicer with the overlay and are much less clingy, my bridesmaids said they were more comfortable and more flattering xxx

I did look at Dessy but they don't have my colour and I also liked the option of having my junior bridesmaids wear the same thing. I really like the chiffon though it looks really nice.

The dessy dress looks lovely. Is the quality good? They have exactly the right colour for me so I might look into them as well

Yes the quality of the dessy dresses is great, I'm really pleased with them. The twist dresses only come in four colours, mine are platinum xx

Coralie Beatrix on Etsy is bloomin amazing! I got married last year and these were one of my best decisions - gorgeous quality, amazing service and great price too.

I bought my bridesmaid dresses from Dresslongbridal on etsy and they were gorgeous - everybody thought they were TwoBirds!

I haven't done my wedding report yet but pic below:

I've ordered some samples from a few different places (including Coralie) so I can match colour and see quality.

I will definitely be ordering the tube top for underneath so that there is no worries about anything being on show or too low cut which I've seen is what some people find an issue with these dresses.

So now I just have to wait for the samples to get to me so I can make a decision.
