Are you one of those (like me!!) thats spends a fortune on wrapping stuff and making them look pretty or are you a 99p roll of paper wrap it as quick as you can type of person?

I have different levels of wrapping dependant on recipient..i have just noticed I have no less then 7 varieties of paper and a huge box of ribbons, tags and decorations for presents!! ha!!

I LOVE wrapping presents. I have a cupboard full of wrapping related paraphernalia. If it hasn't got at least two types of ribbon it's not properly wrapped.

I love it, when I can be bothered.

I would never buy a 99p roll though.

Also *OCD alert* the presents that go under my tree have to match the colours in my living room - so they have to be silver or purple or pinks. If any are wrapped in red or green or have horrible santas or reindeers on I wont let them go under the tree.

I go for 99p papers, OH goes for the mid-priced ones so we compromise and buy half of each.

But we do get bows and spend ages wrapping them nicely and putting lables on, even if it is just the 4 of us at exchange. (Oh's parents and us)

Me, I'm a 99p roll girl and really bad at wrapping presents - apologies in advance to my SO! Considering I could happily spend hours making a card, wrapping a present is like a punishment to me, I never get it right and no matter what I put on it or what I spend on the wrapping, it always looks crap! (That's my reasoning for being a cheapie!)

    This is my sister.

I'm not overly fussed about it, but I don't like cheap paper that tears really easily. I like the slightly thicker stuff. I do like nice big ribbons, though I have only ever put them onto presents when wrapping at my sister's house as can't be bothered to buy them myself.

I'm a bit of both truth be told. I never pay a lot for wrapping paper, but I always make them look pretty with ribbons and bows.

I need to buy bows actually, I'm completely out!

With best intentions I like nice papers tags and ribbons but they still vacant hide the fact I'm crap at wrapping presents.

I love pretty paper and nice bows. I hate the cheaper paper as find it too flimsy. May be my wrapping though!

I have too many presents to wrap to splash out on the really expensive paper, but I try to snazz it up with ribbon. I do have a soft spot for the tacky reindeer-laden paper though.

At Christmas time I can't be bothered going to too much trouble because there's so many. For a birthday I might stick on a bow

Presents under the tree are always wrapped in nice paper, that co-ordinates with the decorations. Kids presents are wrapped in cheapo paper, as they wouldn't appreciate nicely wrapped gifts. Plus, I buy them so much, I'd spend a fortune on paper. I buy them the massive rolls, in the sales.

I currently have at least 9 different papers (each person has their own paper)

Haha this is the first year there have been kids to buy for (ok still babies) so I bought some more 'child friendly' stuff since I'd feel guilty wrapping a baby gift in my usual brown paper. I've also bought two rolls for £1 stuff for the dog, but it's actually really nice. It's all I had available at the time, so I had to wrap my friend's advent gifts in it, I may use it to wrap some 'proper' gifts in it:

I try to do nice wrapping with reasonably priced paper- I wont spend a fortune on it cause it just gets chucked and only a few people I but for actually appreciate the nice wrapping. I like ribbon and bows and tags but I am a properly miss match person- I use old cards as gift tags as well- organised chaos perhaps?

Last year we saw the beauty advent calendars that have mini samples, but were about £150 - so this year we decided to make one for each other (for free!) We saved free samples and mini things, and made them into and advent calendar! Very exciting, I've had two cool gifts so far!

    I'm a cheapo wrapper!

I do like the paper to coordinate with the tree though and this obviously goes with our lounge decor too.

I don't really see the point in spending loads of money and time wrapping things to look beautiful when it just gets ripped off and chucked away!

I like hubby to buy his own for my presents and not let me see it - it adds to the surprise!

I got my paper in the sale last year, but it's quite good quality as I don't like see through thin stuff as it breaks easily when you have to store or transport your presents. I don't do extra ribbon or fancy bows, but I like my corners to be neat and I put a nice gift tag on.

    Atb -that sounds awesome

Tricks - it makes me laugh that you relegate presents in the wrong wrapping paper! Where do they go?

Im crazy when it comes to wrapping paper and ribbon gift tags etc. I spend a fortune and it all has to coordinate - so I'll buy different rolls and patterns but they all have to link together - e.g the same mix of colours. Then if I'm wrapping lots of gifts for one person I'll do it in different coordinating paper and alternate the ribbon colours to make it look pretty but matching. I think I'm just a bit of a loser when it comes to Christmas!

I love wrapping paper and ribbons! I have a wrapping paper box which is awesome. H thinks I am a loser Smiley sad since being with H I also do pretty ribbons and pretty tags too. I usually stock up in the sales, and then still buy more at christmas time! I am currently sitting wrapping gifts, and have 12 different rolls of paper, and several odd bits for little stocking gifts. I love wrapping, but am not particularly good at it unless it's a box (apologies, SO!), so I wrap the box shaped things and H wraps the difficult things! He is amazing at wrapping. Even my little advent chocolates are all wrapped up in nice paper with ribbon!!
