We bought a movie in the sales. Anchorman. I had never seen will ferrel movies before but I've heard him a lot on chris moyles and hes made me larf. so H suggested we watch it tonight. he sat thro the rather crap Die Another day on itv this evening and then we cracked open a bottle to watch anchorman. Within minutes im pissing myself laffin, appeals to my sense of humour. hes sitting there sighing and wot not.....

I have watched so many of his movies and when im bored ive tried to reach for the laptop and been shot down......

but him?? 'im not enjoying this' and he goes off in a total sulk.

its like the films offended him coz its made me give huge belly laffs.........

it was just sooo odd.... like he had seen something in the movie to upset him??? I said to him 'If you dont want to watch it then dont' and he professed that he DID want to... then he changed his mind..

its put me on a right downer now...

you experienced this before?????

    Ive not really had as an etreme reaction from H as you seem to have had though??? ive not watched Anchorman either so cant suggest weather there is anything i think which may have got to him

    What is this anchorman you speak of? I will have to investigate!

    I experience this in reverse. Bloke will sit there with big phat guffaws of laughter at ... Spongebob Square Pants (which is only allowed on when Boy is here ...) Now I can't STAND Spongebob - it drives me mad. I hate it hate it hate it - and I just don't get what is sooooo funny! Boy and Bloke will both be absolutely curling up with the giggles... although I do just remove myself from the room when its on ...

    If its not that then its South Park - although I did sit thru' 4 episodes the other night and some of it was pretty funny - some of it was jaw dropping 'how do they get away with it' tho'... not sure Boy should be watching such things at his age! lol!

    ive decided thats going to be my feel good film

    I watched their afternoon delight music video 3 times last night and H was moaning at me for screeching with laughter and spoiling his listening to music in the other room......

    I hadnt even appreicated the song was about 'lovemaking in the afternoon' until Ron Burgandy told me, hahahahahaha oh man, love it......

    its very silly humour Moomin..... but i loved it.......
