Well I have have made good progress with planning our wedding and things have been going relatively smoothly up until it came to sorting out the bridesmaid dresses. We had to order moh's dress last July as she would be abroad until the wedding. After speaking to all the bridesmaid and family we decided to order moh dress and the three others we would wait until December as one was losing weight and the the two younger ones were prone to growth spurts. So come along December I checked when everyone was available and booked the appointment for the girls to be measured, the day before and a furious phone call from a family member screaming I was being unreasonable in expecting them to pay for them and especially before Christmas. I calmly explained the girls had picked the dresses and had all offered to pay for them, they had all known since July the costs and when payment would be needed. They said that we would have to order in January or order cheaper dresses. I said fine as we were also struggling with cash we would order cheaper dresses in January. It's now January and I managed to find similar and alot cheaper dresses and to avoid any futher cash problems I would order them and they could pay me back when they are able. I said all I need from you is your measurements in order to get the correct sizes. They all agreed and said they would get back to me before the weekend. That was two weeks ago and no measurements and no reply to any phone calls. ARrrgh. Are they trying to wind me up?

Oh my life how frustrating for you!!!

I am assuming the family member is parent to all/some of your BMs. Maybe pop round and see them and ask if there are any problems and if so, what can you do to sort them? If it is money for them, give them the option of opting out or something?

Not ideal but not sure there is much you can do until you find out the problem.

Forgot to add, no you are not BU, and yes they are trying to wind you up ?

How annoying....I'd just pop round and check on them. Could be a genuine reason its taking so long to get back??? But realistically, sounds like they're just dragging their feet. x
