How long is it that she hasn't been answering your emails for? She may just be having some email/internet problems.

Have you tried phoning her?

Try other ways of contacting her - phone or going to where you met her. It could be that she's busy with wedding season in full flow and hasn't prioritised her future brides due to workload - no excuse but a possibility.

I wouldn't book another photographer until you've tried a number of ways of contacting her, got wedding insurance and confirmed you can get the previous deposit back.

We used www.weddinsurance.co.uk as they included cover for dangerous activitiies. ESL, Confetti and M&S get good reviews too.

I would also say try contacting her other ways. We have on occasion had problems with our website servers which have meant our photography website has disappeared for a day or two.

Email - try setting it so you get a read and delivery receipt, that way you will know she has at least read it. I agree with what others have said, try other forms of contact first.

If not then it would seem a good idea to at least start looking for someone else, as we (as I am sure most photographers) are fast booking up for summer weddings.

Do you have a mailing address for her, maybe a letter would go idea.

Otherwise I would start looking out for another photographer. I know we have no July Saturdays available.

A couple of years ago I had a real problem with NTL mail and lost a few potential jobs as a result. Very annoying as it seemed to pick on certain senders mail not to deliver.

Have you tried googling? maybe they have a new website and thats why the site is gone...

1. do some searches relating to the website and domain

2. ask on a professional photographers forum if anyone knows whats going on

3. possibly find you a replacement photographer (you will need to supply the details)
