I was prescribed it last year. Insofar as I am aware, you have to evidence you can reduce your current weight by 7lbs via your own efforts before most GP's will prescribe it-as it's an expensive resource and will not be effective if one continues to over eat. Anyway, it worked. The side effects were gross if I overindulged on food with a high fat content. However, I never had any "accidents" that some people have had. It is off putting when excreting the fat when opening bowels generally, to see orange tinged/fat floating in the toilet bowel!

No I have not tried so far. Becoz I am fond of food. I know overindulging on food will lead to side effects.

It worked for me short term but only because I was so frightened to eat anything. Even when i followed the menu the dietatian had given me, with no cheating I was always frightened of being too far from a toilet
