(yawn) Broken Cooker Seal

scholt, 22 June, 2008 at 19:08 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 1

Sorry to post something so, erm exciting but the door seal on my beloved range cooker has come off.

It's out of warranty (but only 1 1/2 years old ?). I've tried gluing it back on but as soon as you start her up it comes off again. Must need heat proof glue (?)

What do I do - phone smeg?, phone a handy man?

Thanks

We had our oven cleaned and they were able to get a replacement seal for mine and they fitted it

Not sure otherwise, SMEG would be your best bet

    Thank you

We've ordered a replacement seal for it - looks like ours has actually ripped/deteriorated.
