Yay or Nay? Dress-shoe combo

Personally, I wouldn't put them together. I have some M&S sandals that have that colour, a paler turquoise and silver in them which I'd wear with something that colour, but nude would work as well.

Yes I think they go nicely, so long as you have some other pink accessories.

I think personally I'd go for silver strappy sandals with that colour dress.

I've searched high and low in town to find something silver / gold / nude but they're all too high. I have ones very similar to those topshop ones but they're silver (actually more pewter) and open toed... do you think they'd be the best bet?

They sound more like what I would go for. It's all personal taste though. If you like the pink, go for it. It's just not a combination I'd ever wear.

Me neither, Mel! ? Have this notion in my head that they'd be nicer than my normal boring choices but I think I'm struggling so much to find the right shoes because I'm not totally convinced myself that the colour works.

I would go with Sophie's Faith choice. They work, its easy, they are in budget and they are not boring! I know you want the pink shoes but you'll only stress all day when you're wearing them because you're not sure and you won't feel comfortable.

I truly feel that the pink/fuscia shoe thing will only work if they are killer heels, and I mean no less than 4 inches!.

Mind you, I'm off again, you shouldn't buy those top shop shoes, they are not right for the dress and the strap is very, very unflattering and will chop your ankles making your calves look bigger (not saying you have big calves btw!)

The ones Sophie has posted are perfect. I think you need to step away from colour as you really can't do it unless you go for ultra sexy, killer heels.

I think the ones Sophie suggested are the way to go. Otherwise if you're a size 4, I have these which I could lend you to see if the colour matches. I also have a couple of pairs of silver sandals with low heels I could send you pictures of.
