Initially we were going to serve champagne for toasts but wine for welcome drinks to save money. The hall say we can provide some of our own booze as long as we use their bar for people to buy their own drinks.
Anyway.... from combining discounts with Tesco Wine, I've just ordered 36 bottles of champagne for.... £436! So about 12 per bottle, so we can now do champagne welcome drinks AND toasts for cheaper than serving wine! Yayyy!!!
FWIW we chose champagne that is on half price until the end of the month, then used a 10% discount voucher picked up at a wedding show, then a £10 off your first order internet coupon. Total saving £644!!!
