Yellow & White Colour Scheme.............anyone else............

Its definitley not a colour scheme I come by often but think it could look stunning. Are you having any accent colours?

It will give you lots of choice flowers wise.

Just had a thought..

When my brother got married, he had a green and black theme and for their centrepieces they had green pears in tall vases with a black floating candle on the top and it looked really effective - you could do domething similar with lemons

Now i have written it, it sounds odd but it did look really good!

Our invites our white cheque book style with yellow ribbon, the boys cravats and hankies are yellow, my BMs are in yellow maxi dresses. My flowers will be yellow roses and the BMs will have white roses! All of our stationery has yellow ribbon on it somewhere! We are also having yellow and white balloons in the reception room! We are also having yellow sugar roses on our cake!

We are getting married on 23rd July 2011 so its a nice fresh colour!

I think it would look very classy. My fav flowers are daffodils so yellow is always a winner with me.

I'm having red, yellow and white. I've always loved red but wanted another colour to make it a bit more summery as I'm getting married in the summer. Love yellow. So bright and happy.

Yeah, this is ours, I'm thinking of including grey/silver as per Sherrie's suggestion.

We're doing fishbowl centrepieces, all the same except a different yellow flower in each one - and we are naming the tables based on tha flower in each bowl.

Groom will be wearing a grey kilt with silver cravat and yellow buttonhole.

CBM will be in greyish dress with yellow sash.

FG will be in white dress with yellow sash.

My bouquet will be prob white lillies, with yellow 'something' and fressia.

Yellow rose petals on the tables and also for the FG to scatter on the aisle before I walk down it.

Prob stick with white on the napkins, etc. so not to overdo it.

White chair covers with yellow (and possible siver) sash's.

Not sure what else off the top of my head, but feel free to ask about any item in particular that you're strugglling with.

I'm MOH for my sister in a few weeks and she's having yellow and ivory.

Yellow BM dresses with an ivory sash and ivory shoes with crystals.

Groom in yellow cravat/best man and ushers in ivory (or the other way round - can't remember!)

Yellow gerberas amongst others in her flowers and centrepieces

Invitations have been ivory but order of service will have a yellow ribbon around it.

I ❤️ yellow and grey together and was my original theme but OH found a lovely black suit he really liked so now changed to black, corally/orange and ivory with a hint of green.. sounds wierd but I think its nice

I'm doing the same tinkissarah! I was starting to worry it might be too unusual, so nice to see I'm not the only one! It's such a light, happy, informal colour scheme.

We are not having this colour sheme, but I wish I had thought of it before, it is lovely. Unusual, beautiful, fresh and summery. If you are having a spring or summer wedding it will look great!

Close, we're having pale yellow with a hint of silver.

Invites will have a yellow and silver design on them

Bridesmaid will be in yellow and Men's suits have silver waistcoats with yellow cravats

There will be yellow and silver ribbon on the cake

Haven't got to flowers yet but like the idea of yellow roses
