yes, it's another dress wobble post :-s **updated - new flash**

Vintage84, 8 September, 2012 at 08:29 Posted on Planning 0 9

I cannot believe I'm posting this, I'm usually so sure of things but I guess the money I've spent is making the decision I made that much more scary!! So my dress is Pronovias Bianca, I can't post from my phone, if someone could flash it for everyone that would be great! I've always wanted a beautiful lace dress & that's what I've got but.....I've seen a lot of other lace dresses since that look much more elegant & delicate and now I'm worried I'm going to look frumpy, heavy & old fashioned. I'm having the top of the dress altered to give off the shoulder lace straps rather than covering up my chest & the back will be turned into a V-shape aswell but I just remember it being quite heavy to wear & its just not as delicate as other dresses I've seen since. Just worried I chose too fast & there's nothing I can do now. Arrghh, I hate dress wobbles!!!!

Hello. I can't flash as I'm on my phone too but I've just had a look and it's lovely! The lace is beautiful. Your going for the vintage theme arnt you? This will look perfect.

Plus once you have your shoes on, hair done and jewellery etc you will feel totally different xxx

It really doesn't help that the model looks miserable & skinny!! This is so stupid, I hate being like this!

When I had the dress wobble, the best advice I had was to go and try my dress on again as all the reasons why I liked it came flooding back to me.

It's a gorgeous dress. You're not going to look at all frumpy. If you can, go try it on agian to stop you wobbling.

Just been for a walk in the sunshine and had an epiphany....I'm wobbling because I've never done this before. I've never organised an entire day, where all my friends & family will be there, and despite being to around 15 weddings in the last 4 years I can't quite imagine my own big day! It's so tricky isn't it, because you can't have a rehearsal & you've got to keep bits secret and keeping my dress secret is the worst!! Me & oh are sooo close, we talk about everything & I hate not being able to tell him things!! I think I'm going to have an evening making a moodboard (not doing it now, when the sun is out!). That way, I can see the bits coming together...and then the wobbles will hopefully disappear!!

Your dress is stunning! I totally agree with what you say here! The hardest thing with my wedding has been keeping stum about the dress to oh! I tell him everything, we discuss everything and not being able to tell him has been awful! I inow he will be totally happy on the day!

Planning a wedding is really tough, but i am sure you will be fine, just remember the main purpose is marrying your oh! We are having a vintagey theme also (1940s)

Ta da, my ideas so far!! Aaw, it actually looks really good when I put it all together!! That's a teeny tiny flash of my dress in the corner...the lovely lady in the store pinned it to change the top so I could see what it would look like!
