Despite the rain, we had an amazing day. Wanted to share a few of our favourite pics before we jet off on our family honeymoon! Hoping to do a full report when we return.

    Thanks everyone. Apples - yes it is the Hey Green! Amazing venue. When are you getting married?

    They were fantastic on the day and the grounds are beautiful. It rained all day for us but luckily we took our wellies and brollies so we managed to make the most of it!

    We get married August 25th, did you have their dj? How was the food and service etc? Sorry for questions but your the first person I know who has got married there x

    We used our own dj so can't comment on this part. The food was fantastic, everyone enjoyed it. We had the turkey Wellington which was delicious! The evening buffet was apparently excellent too but I was still full from the meal so didn't have any!

    The service was good. I had a few niggles, like them charging us a £20 corkage fee for our champagne when we were getting ready! If I'd have known this before hand I wouldn't have bothered taking any. This a little annoying considering how much we were already paying them! If your getting ready there, and you do plan to have a little drink I would recommend that you hide it from them and take your own glasses!

    There were people on the top table left without champagne during the speeches too, we had to ask them to come and fill the glasses.

    All in all these are tiny things and didn't effect the day in any way so I wouldn't be concerned about them.
