Little Miss Tweety, 29 May, 2011 at 21:22 Posted on Planning 0 13

I have got my dress!

It is lace and vintage looking! A deep cream almost goldy coloured and i need ideas for headwear and a bracelet

Im thinking maybe a flower or pearl head wear with maybe a little sparkle

Bracelet something simple not too big (got skinny wrists) prob pearls and a little sparke to catch some light but this is only vague ideas as i have no clue?

Also i think the pearl would need to be the deeper colour one.

TIA

    Evening!

❤️ lace! There's a few ideas below for you which incorporate flower type shapes and pearls (or pearls can be added to the band) and a simplier pearl double tiara band (diamante can be added if you like). Have you any ideas as to how you are wearing your hair?

If you'd like some more specific suggestions, please feel free to send me a photo of you dress to

Bracelet wise, again, there's a few ideas below of bracelets with pearls and sparkle but a design can be adapted to suit the tiara. I also have some gorgeous sparkley bits, one of which can be added to a single strand bracelet and the others to a double strand. If you'd like to see these just shout as I haven't had time to make new designs up yet.

I'd also be happy to send you pearl samples so you can choose the best colour.

Hope that helps. Lots more ideas here www.louloubelle.co.uk and you can get me on ****@***********.**.** if you need any help at all.

I have the 6th tiara that Lisa has flashed. It's truly beautiful. Pictures really dont do it justice

I can highly recommend Lisa. Her work and customer service is fantastic.

    Hey Lisa

The second bracelet is the kind of thing i was thinking of but i think i'd need a slightly darker pearl. It's beautiful.

Hair wise I'm thinking of having it curled and loosely pinned to one side and with them sitting just off my shoulder as my dress is high necked.

I'm prob gona do my hair myself and i deff wont have it looking 'bridey'.

Sorry if this is no help and samples of the pearls would be great.

Sorry if this is being cheeky but can u tell me roughly how much this kind of thing is?

Lil red i saw u flash that side tiara a few days ago. It was lovely on u! Really suited u with ur dark hair and skin!

Were u worried bout ordering something u cudnt try on beforehand. This is my worry bout ordering off the internet. I know the ladies in here get a really good name and their work is to a high standard but i'd worry that I picked the wrong thing.

    Thanks Lil Miss Red ?

A side tiara sounds like a great choice with that hair style. They look best with the front part of your hair pulled to the side (as you can see on all the models). The centre model had her hair pretty much like you describe but you can't see it in these photos unfortunatley as it's the other side!, it was curled and pinnned very loosely but pinned up so it sat nearly on her shoulders.

These side tiaras start at £49, most are around £60 and the most expensive is the double band with the three diamante elements at £90. All side tiaras and prices can be found here http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/tiaras_bands_side.html

These two bracelets using the gorgeous rhinestone balls start at £18 and can be found here http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/bracelets_bridal.html - if the tiara includes diamantes then rondells can be incorporated into bracelet (such as "Angel") instead of the balls which reduces the cost quite a bit.

I think I used White Swarovski pearls in most of the samples so they are quite light. It's no problem at all to send you pearl samples - if you could drop me an email with your address I'll get that sorted for you.

Hiya. Yeah I was a bit at first. Like you I was scared I wouldnt go etc.

I showed Lisa a pic of my dress and asked her opinion on coloured pearls. She gave me a recomendation on colour and sent me some samples so I could see for myself that def helped

the colour Lisa suggested was spot on!

Just a thought, if it helps I have 5 out of the top 6 here as samples for consultations so if you were unsure it could be sent out, tried on and returned. I'm afraid I don't offer 'return and refund' on ordered items as everything is handmade to order but if there is a sample made I could do this to put your mind at rest.

TBH I did worry about not liking what I ordered from the net so ordered a small item (some earings) first to make sure I loved the materials etc as i've never had crystals before. I've not had any issues with HIBs but i'd be more worried about somewhere else online as I'd worry about quality etc but here, I know they are all highly recommended.

I really like the 2nd band Lisa has flashed, simular to something I have myself and ties into the pearl theme well.

I've also just had something made for my MIL by Lynsey which is mainly pearls but with a small silver element between balls which just catches the light - would look great on one of the bracelets Lisa flashed as a toned down look from the silver balls (sorry my descriptions are very poor!). As I am not explaining well - this is what I mean (the middle bit):

Little Madam - yep they are the "rondells". They are lovely aren't they and look great with pearls. I go through rather a lot of them!

@ Lisa - I can imagine - they look so lovely when the light hits them - understated but lovely!

My MIL has a vintage pearl necklace with them in years ago and I was so impressed they could still be matched now - means she can have a full set for her wedding outfit.

@ Mrs H2b - I wasn't sure about my headband at first, it took me months to think about it before ordering but I have to say, although it's not "me" or not typically me I should say, I love mine!!

Understated and lovely and catching the light is what i want. Least this way it can be made to fit my stupidly dinky wrists.

I would be happy to help.

These are a couple of my new ranges. The second tiara can be made with pearls onto the band rather than the diamantes as shown & this would then bring the costing down.

Feel free to take alook on my site & if there is nothing that catched your eye, I would be happy to design a bespoke piece for you
