I missed a call from my friend who lives in York at 2pm today.

I've been trying to contact her since then to no avail.

What's the weather like there? I'm getting a bit concerned

    Not in York but my friend who is text me earlier saying it was snowing but wasn't too bad.

    I'm in Selby (which is about 12 miles south of York) - we had about 10cm of snow yesterday but clearer today.

    Also not a long way a way from york. lots of snow but it's better today than yesterday. I might be venturing into York later we'll soon find out.

    I'm in York, weather is fine but cold today, roads were fine getting into work. Pathways look a bit slushy or icy, people walking very cautiosly, but that wasn't the centre of town. Hope your friend is OK.
