I was having this conversation with H as we are looking to move soon, but know that we can't afford our dream just yet but are happy to take small steps up the ladder. I know exactly what I want eventually.
I have a picture in my head of a house out in the countryside, a converted farmhouse or barn. It looks like a farmhouse or barn, but is quite modern with glass and nice wood complemeting the old brickwork. The house would have a huge atrium with big glass windows and a big open plan kitchen with an island in the middle. It also must have a huge garden and I would have to have a huge vegetable patch and a gorgeous little round greenhouse which I've had my eye on for ages.
I've always told H that this is the house I eventually want to build when we have the money/have won the lottery (H disagrees and thinks we should buy a penthouse appartment in the citycentre so he wouldn't have far to walk home after a night out)... Do you know what you would build if you won the lottery?
