Your hairstyle during working hours..

Do you care what your hair looks like when your're at work? I mean apart from brushing it, does it matter to you?

I only ask as last night i showered, dried my hair and kinda twisted it up in a bun as it was hot , slept in it, took it down this morning and it was wavy and curly and a bit 'stylishly messy' so thought 'doesnt look too bad, il roll with it'.

Like below:

Going home at lunchtime i was horrified to see my hair looking like birds nest!!

like so:

so ive come back in with smooth straight sleek hair thanks to GHDs!

    ? Nice examples!

Mine is always straightened for work (it is naturally curly) occasionally in a pony or with my sidey fringe thing french plaited out of the way

I dry my fringey bits and wave them a bit. Rest of the hair gets shoved wet into a messy bun. I never dry my hair before work.

Mine is short just now, so sometimes straight, more often than not a bit more natural, and very occasionally up.

I wash my hair of an evening, it mostly gets scraped into a pony tail as I can't be bothered to keep styling it.

However it didn't look too bad this morning, so I am rocking the asymmetric bob with fringe to work today!

Straight or up in a side bun. They're about the only two things I can do with my hair as I am useless. Sometimes I let it dry naturally with a bit of mousse but it doesnt always work!

I often go with the messy look, I wash my hair most evenings and go to bed with it semi wet, I dont blow dry it unless I'm going out when I wake up I have natural waves and it looks quite nice, sometimes I put it in a scruffy bun, but to be honest I couldn't give a sh1t what it looks like.

I tie mine up in a pony or a bun, then clip my fringe back into a quiff out my face, can't stand my hair down when I'm trying to work and I end up messing with it and making it greasy! I'm not customer facing, and really don't care what I look like at work. I should, but I don't.

My hair is naturally very wavy, so every morning I think, ooh it looks pretty good today, with that stylishly messy look going on, but the later the day gets, the more I think I look homeless.

I tend to just straighten it or tie it up on my non hairwash days. I try to be a bit more adventurous but alwayS seem to end up looking the same (pants)

If I've washed it I wear it down in the morning to work. It's naturally straight, I sometimes feel like I'm the only woman in the world who doesn't own GHDs. I wouldn't know what to do with them!

Unfortunately I have to whack it back into a boring pony tail as soon as I get to court to put the wig on, and at the end of the day when the wig comes off I have horrific wig hair so it stays scraped back until I get home. I used to have a lovely bob, I might go back to it as it was so much easier.

I wash & straighten the night before & stick it up in some sort of ponytail. I dont really care what it looks like for work unless theres an event on.

I just don't know what to do with it when it's long, so much easier short but I don't think I want it cut.

I work with food so up. Usually a bun when my hairs is long as its kept off my face but I've just got my hair cut really short and one side keeps falling out a bobble (not sure if they cut my hair squint or it's just me though!) so it's been a low side ponytail for the last week or so!!

I have to wear mine up for work. But I cannot be faffed with any sort of involved up do.

It's either all messily pinned up, a messy bun or a ponytail..

Hair wash day - down and straightened

Not hair wash day - up in a bun.

Every other day is a hair wash day

If i can be bothered, it get's a bit of styling done to it, whether it's straightened, or made into a natrual wave style. I like the concept of wearing my hair down, but at work it just get's in my way and i end up tying it back. It's usually a pony tail with the fringe quiffed a little, or if my fringe is behaving, i leave it out.

Im amazed at how many wash their hair every other day. I wash dry and straighten my hair every single day. work or weekend its the same wash dry straighten. if its being put up i do it after its straightened. the only time i don't wash dry and straighten in the morning is on holiday as im going in the pool.

I wash and blowdry every other day. My hair would look horrid if I straightened it every day. I only do that on special occasions.

I don't normally do anything to my hair for work - it's short enough that I don't need to tie it up. Now I'm in theatres, I wear a hat all the time anyway.

I have to wear my hair up for work, but I prefer wearing my hair up anyway so it's always either in a ponytail or bun. Normally I have short hair worn down but I'm growing it out for the wedding.

This. I have to wash, dry and straighten every day. I tend to go to work with it down and by lunch I have put it up. It is quite long now though, I need som easy up style inspiration.

Kb3, you need dry shampoo in your life.

I work from home so hair generally depends on if I plan on actually leaving the house or not.

Dry shampoo is rank. It's talcum powder in spray form. It reminds me of being a skanky teenager and not washing my hair then spraying Batiste (or whatever it's called) to cover up my mingingness.

Bea - Do you wear your hair up in a sock bun? I've kinda taken on my own version by putting the sock over the ponytail, backcombing the hair in sections then pinning in rough sections around the sock. It's a messy up-do rather than the perfect bun.

I have issues this morning. No amount of dry shampoo would've sorted this mess.

Went out with the girls last night to Pizza Express and got in really late so didnt shower.... ?

When i was in full time work it was a skanky environment anyway, so id wash my hair every other day or sometimes every 3 days ? with the help of dry shampoo. It near enough always went in a bobble unless it was wash day or the fit drivers were in work ?
