Your Highlights of 2008 (stolen from OT...)

My highlights of 2008 are;

• Producing a fantastic and professional looking school musical
• Buying an automatic car and improving lots in my lessons
• selling my flat and getting rid of my old life

Looking forward to in 2009;

• Buying a new house
• Getting married
• starting a new life

My highlights of 2008 are;

• Spending the first Valentine's day and birthday with my lovely h2b
  
• Going on my first snowboarding holiday which was also our first abroad holiday together
  
• Getting engaged on the top of a snow covered mountain
• Joining Hitched and becoming part of a great community of virtual friends and actually meeting and becoming friends with one really nice hitcher

Looking forward to in 2009;

• Being able to say "We are getting married next year"
  
• Doing more wedding planning

• Getting our two kittens

• Improving my job prospects by learning more skills and improving my French even more

• a lovely holiday somewhere hot

Highlights of 08:

• getting engaged to my fabulous h2b..
• ... and telling the world and his wife about it!
• good general development in my career
• getting an unexpectedly good grade on a really tough essay i did whilst incapacitated through neck strain and being dosed up on diazepam!

looking forward in 09:

• getting married to the love of my life, and being his wife
• taking the biggest jump in my career yet...
• ... and possibly a nice big fat pay rise at the same time!
• our mortgage payments going down (hopefully!)

Oooh everyone's 2009 plans sound exciting. Job progression, starting families, more wedding planning...think 2009 is going to be an eventful year for Hitchers! ?

Getting married in July, Can't wait, Starting a family, buying a house with my H2B (hopefully), Going to see Metallica in Feb (Weird i know)

I agree with 'being able to say we're getting married next year'

Completing my first year of my MSW

Highlights of 08:

• meeting my now "fella" in January
• my beautiful new nephew being born
• going on holiday with said fella - a week on the beach, in the sun! bliss
• moving home
• my older nephew starting school

Looking forward in 09:

• loosing weight - obvious maybe, but I have joined WW and I will be loosing 2 stone! Definate!
• seeing a very good friend get married to the funniest man
• the year ahead with fella
• seeing my lovely nephews grow & get bigger - love them so much!
• seeing Girls Aloud in concert!!! My mate has got me tickets for christmas & had to tell me early in case I booked them myself!!!!!

I think that's it at the moment! I'm really looking forward to going out on New Years Eve too!

Ha! I nearly pee'd my pants when she told me! I want us to get t-shirts saying we're the 6th & 7th members of Girls Aloud! But even for me I think that may be taking it a bit far! Although she has started calling me Katie Cole! And she is now Sam Walsh! ?

Highlights of 08:

My lovely boyfriend becoming my even lovelier fiance.

My future father-in-law coming through his heart op.

Future father-in-law crying when we told him we were engaged as he was so happy! (That really has to be one of the most touching moments of my entire life!)

Managing to somehow run the Race for Life inspite of the fact that I have arthritis in my knees!

Going on holiday to Cornwall and having really lovely weather.

Buying my wedding dress.

Meeting up with some Hitchers in London.

My best mate moving back from Ireland.

Looking forward to 2009:

Getting married - obviously!

Iain finally moving into my house permanently.

Re-learning photography skills with my new camera!

Maybe thinking about starting a family, although to be honest, that's more like a 2010 thing!

I am so jealous, thats the nicest present ever!!

• a number of key family birthdays - 40ths, 60ths and 90ths!

Tee hee, you should try and get some tickets! Saw them last year and they were spectacular!!!

Oh - am I allowed to add something else to look forward to? I'm 30 next year ? And I have a big party booked! I'll have to invite loads of Hitchers!

• My son starting school
• Seeing some of my best friends get married and have babies!! (Did actually 'see' them have babies but YKWIM!!)
• My sister having my third niece
• My dog having her puppies and getting to keep one
• Planning my wedding

Highlights for 2009

• Getting married (OMG)
• Hopefully having an unbelieveably fantastic honeymoon
• Hopefully getting a proper job
• Getting our house ready so we can hopefully move in 2010

As you can see I'm quite hopeful for the new year!! ? And I'm sure I've missed something important?!

2008 Highlights, in no particular order

• getting married - having all my friends & family together just for me & my H was truly amazing
• losing 3 stone (and buying smaller jeans!)
• camping in hammocks in the jungle in Guyana

• moving out of London into a house with a garden rather than a flat without one
