Your stick on bra experiences please!

Penny P, 28 October, 2013 at 13:56 Posted on Planning 0 9

After reading JennyK's post about underwear I started wondering about these sticky bras you can get. Please tell me 5your experiences. They would be ideal to wear with my dress but how well do they stay on? I have a vision of getting a bit sweaty and the cups falling off! ?

I tried some silicone stick-on cups, and they fell off after an hour or so. Then tried the stick-on b00b shapers (they're basically like plaster - as in band-aid - fabric) and they held up really well BUT gave me the most painful blisters after they refused to come off my skin, even after soaking in the bath for half an hour. In hindsight I do regret my backless dress somewhat...

I am another one that tried both the silicone stick on bra and the plater things as mentions above for a dress I wore to H2B works Christmas do last year.

The silicone bra is ok if you don't have huge boobies and if you don't re arrange it too much, after a couple tries at getting it right it felt like I was pulling my nipples off each time, but am sure if I had kept it on it would have stuck well, as for the stickers they gave me really odd shaped breastickles - In the end I went braless and was fine.

Not helpful on the sticky bra front, but is it possible to have cups sewn into your dress?

I wore one once and yes it fell off repeatedly. I kept havig to dance with my arms clamped across my chest to keep it on. Was wearing a white top so def couldn't have gone without anything. This was about 6 years ago now.

My boobs are teeny - I have tried a couple but the wonder bra one was the best. Although they are so unflattering and horrible shapes... Thank god I'm having a bra in my dress x

Mine felt off when I got sweaty, I'd only risk them if they're very firmly in a corset (i.e. there's something to give them help to stay in place!)

Thanks girls, won't waste my money then, I don't want everyone to remember the day for my bra falling out the bottom of my dress! Can you imagine???
