How did you meet?

We met in a nightclub on a student night out at uni.

What attracted you to each other?

I was so drunk I don't remember, my friend had to ok him for me as I had had a few bad experiences of pulling people while drunk. I think for him he was also drunk. Having said that I am glad for the alcohol as we are both naturally very shy so I am not sure we would have ever met sober.

On our first date I was not attracted to him it was just a good laugh (my diary for that day makes some interesting reading!). My plan was to stay with him until the end of the uni term (we met three weeks before the end of term) and then we would go our separate ways.

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please )

My 21st bday I wasn't that happy with our relationship, my OH bought me diamond earrings for my birthday and I felt so guilty that the planned dumping of him did not happen so I said I would leave it another month. So glad I did as I have just celebrated my 27 bday and we're still together.

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

After 2 weeks we went to the pub for a drink and stayed for about 9 hours just people watching and it was a lot of fun.

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

He is so relaxed about everything I am the opposite

What are your least favourite quirks about each other?

He is too shy and doesn't fight for what he wants; me I am moody!

We met onMatch.com!!! ❤️ ironically we had spoken 3 years earlier but nothing came of it. We've only been together 10 months and our wedding day will be our 2 year anniversary...aahhhh

attraction-he's fit!! on our first date I just sit thinking you are fit, I can't get naked with you!!! haha!

Memorable moment-our first holiday to Jamaica really brought us together. They say your first holiday is make or break (well my friends do anyway!!) and it cemented the relationship for both of us, we talked about moving it when we got home and marraige.

How did you meet?

I was on a girly wknd away in Newquay with my BF and he was out in town for a mates birthday. His mate came over to us while we were sat at a table having some cocktails and asked if we knew what places were good to go to (total line, they all used to go out in Newquay all the time! and he told OH he was coming to ask us for a light!?!!) then OH came over as well, we all had a quick chat and they left for another bar inviting us to meet them there and we did. It must have been fate as 1) I'd never been to Newquay before and OH hadn't been in a long time so the chances we were both there at the same time were slim!

What attracted you to each other?

TBH I wasn't attracted to OH when I first met him, liked some of his mates better, had had one too many cocktails and one thing led to another and the next thing I'm kissing him goodnight and giving him my number!

A memorable moment?

The day after the night we met. OH came and picked me up in his car and took me for a walk along the coast. He was very sweet and funny and I got the butterflies for the first time with him.

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

I can't really remember it seems as if we've been in love forever now. Maybe after about a month or two in we probably said we love each other.

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

I love how funny he can be. He's not the obvious 'joker' of the group so often it's a side only I get to see! I'm not sure what OH would day his favourite 'quirk' was about me!

What are your least favourite quirks about each other?

That fact that I cannot tell whether he's being serious or winding me up sometimes. Oh would probably say my girly tantrums lol

How did you meet?

My very first day at university. He was a 3rd year showing newbies round. At the end of the day there was welcome drinks, a bit like an ice-breaker tea party for the freshers. However, OH came over to me and starting chatting.

Just remembering this is giving me butterflies. I was so damn excited to be at Uni and then to have this gorgeous guy talking to me! At the end of the tea party he asked for email address as he said he doesn't like talking on the phone much (still doesn't).

What attracted you to each other?

He IS a very attractive guy. But after that I loved how at-ease he made me feel. He is warm and funny and loves chatting as much as me, I also loved how he listened to what I aaid too. And remembered things! He says I looked like a scared rabbit in headlights. He also says as soon as he saw me, he knew I was going to be a big part of his life. And that when I first smiled at him he got butterflies (this is rare for guys to admit!). 4 days later it was my birthday and we arranged our first official date by email.

Most memorable moment?

Laying on our brand new bed on our first night as home-owners. We had no TV or sofa but we did have some posh crisps and a bottle of wine. We chatted for hours about our plans for the house and getting married and babies and giggled into the early hours. I remember falling asleep with his arm around me and thinking this is the start of the rest of our lives together, and I'm so looking forward to spending it with him.

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

I know the moment for me. OH says he's always loved me! For me it was about 8 weeks into our relationship, OH went back to Coventry for the weekend. I really missed not seeing him and then it struck me just how much I felt for him. The next time OH said 'I love you' I said it too.

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

I love how OH has absolutely no qualms with PDA. He always holds my hand or has his arm round me, even in front of his mates. I like it how he feels proud to have me on his arm and he makes me feel safe. I also love how he makes us tea every morning without fail. He tells me I look beautiful when I get glammed up, and says I look cute with no make up. I can completely be myself around him.

What are your least favourite quirks about each other?

He has really smelly feet and football trainers that I always seem to be washing. He leaves his contact lense cases in the shelf in the downstairs loo all the time. I wish he had a bit more self confidence. He is a very very clever man in his field but always doubts himself and his ability to lecture his material to students. But he is great at what he does and I'd love for him to realise it like I do.

How did you meet? We initially knew each other from school. We weren't in the same year but both were in a school play together - his reason for this was to get out of class! We chatted to one another because we both caught the bus home together......fast forward another 10 years and we randomly bump into each other on a night out. This is also a memorable moment as I was in fancy dress as I had just been to watch the Rocky Horror Show (this left very little to the imagination for him!?) Skip a couple of hours and OH is asking for my number - I refuse to give it to him and outrightedly said I wasn't interested in a relationship (I had previously come out from two bad relationships) Anyway, his resistance paid off and I drunkenly managed to give him my correct number.

What attracted you to each other? His confidence was quite refreshing, in a non-arrogant way! He knew a bit about my difficult childhood and never pushed me into talking about things. This approach made me open up more and I trusted him completely. I wouldn't say that there was any instant attraction, but one that grew gradually.

A memorable moment? Our first date was pretty memorable.....I picked HIM up from home, asked him where we were going only to be told "I haven't booked anywhere, where do you want to go?".....NOT the best start! We eventually both agreed on a little local restaurant and the evening went well. Since then I have been told that he nearly cancelled on me due to a busy day at work!! I have to laugh as he was the one that wouldn't take no for an answer when he asked me out!

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other? Again this was a gradual thing. I don't think that I said the 3 big words until about 6 months into the relationship. Following that I received a text from him asking if i'm serious about our relationship, and if so, did I want to live with him. Fast forward another 6 months and we exchange on our first property together.

What are your favourite quirks about each other? The silliness that we have in our relationship with one another....stupid dances etc. I love how ambitious he is in life in wanting good things - so far, so good!

What are your least favourite quirks about each other? His utter dislike for DIY. I've just been reminded of this again this morning, after asking if he will change the lights ?, oh, and his washing up that I have to wash up again before it can be used! For me, i'm sure he'd say my moody moments ?

How did you meet? We met at a disgusting sticky club in Nottingham called Rock City at a mutual friends birthday night out

What attracted you to each other? I liked him because he was actually nice! I'd been single for a little while and was sick of the disgusting pervy lads that (literally) tried to get into your knickers on a night out. I think he liked me because I was happy go lucky (his ex was a mardy cow from what I can gather!)

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please I was at work in London for a few days while he was at uni and we were skyping and I told him I was a bit lonely. The next evening he rang me and told me to go the the reception of the hotel (I thought he'd ordered flowers for me or something) but there he was, caught the train from Huddersfield to London and stayed in my hotel room for the rest of my trip! :-)

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other? For me, only a few weeks! I didn't tell him for a while because I didn't know if he'd say it back but when I did, his reaction was 'thank god for that, I've been wanting to say it to you for ages but didn't think you loved me too!'

What are your favourite quirks about each other? I love when he has a shave or brushes his teeth because he always does it naked so I like to have a peep at his little bum wiggling while he does it :-) He likes my strange obsessions with organising things (mostly because it means the house is always perfect and his clothes are always washed dried and ironed and laid out for him, and he never has to do anything! )

What are your least favourite quirks about each other? He hates it when I eat crisps because I crunch loudly, which is a nightmare because I love crisps! I hate it when he blows his nose in the shower because I can hear it all over the house and it makes me feel ?

How did you meet?

In a horrible bar for a mutual friend's leaving night. I was talking to a guy who ended up buying a huge round of tequila and it was my job to find people to join us for shots. Spotted A playing pool with a guy who my friend was snogging so I dragged him over so he wouldn't be on his own. I'd drank a lot of wine before we went out so I don't remember much after that except we were dancing all night like crazy people and a few of us went back to his place to continue the party. I was a bit embarrassed the next day that I couldn't remember much but I agreed to meet up with him because I'd lost my watch and I was hoping he'd have it! My watch was never seen again but it was the best date I ever went on.

What attracted you to each other?

His shoulders! He's a big muscly guy and has loads of tattoos so I loved his "bad boy" look with the "good guy" personality. We have a really similar sense of humour so clicked straight away. He insists it was my dancing that caught his attention but I think it was probably the free tequila I offered him!

At Christmas we'd been together for 4 months and he bought me a new watch to replace the one I lost the night I met him. I couldn't believe he had remembered and he said something really cute about how if I hadn't lost that watch we probably wouldn't have got together and he wanted to give me something meaningful for our first Christmas together ?

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

I knew pretty early because I usually get bored of guys really quickly whereas with A I just wanted to see him all the time but it was a few months before we actually said it to each other.

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

We both dance around the house all the time, we no doubt look ridiculous but we make each other laugh and it can be quite flirtatious.

What are your least favourite quirks about each other?

He's scared of wasps, he actually freaks out when he sees one and it drives me mad. He laughs at me for the way I take ages to eat a cheese string because I like pulling it into loads of tiny strands before eating it.

How did you meet?

We were in the same year at High school, I heard him and his friends talking about Star Trek and I piped in with 'I like star trek too' something he wont let me forget. We had a bit of a fling at 15/16, lost contact at age of 18 and met up again at the age of 29.

What attracted you to each other?

We are both into Star Trek, Computers and Rugby.

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please )

When we won custody of his 4 children from his evil ex who had neglected and abused them. And also the birth of our own child.

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

We always knew we were meant to be together, we just had to go away and live our lives for a while. Our parents both said we would eventually marry. He was my first love and I will always love him.

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

Hes very blunt and straight to the point, tells you how it is and I like that.

He says im smart but dumb at the same time.

What are your least favourite quirks about each other?

He commentates though all the tv programs I watch.

How did you meet? - We both went to the same school, but were in different classes. Were introduced to eachother by friends using MSN Messenger.

What attracted you to each other? - Common interests with regards to music and hobbies

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please ) - Holding hands for the first time watching a film together after school

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other? - It's so long ago now, but it would have been within 6 months

What are your favourite quirks about each other? - I love that he is ambitious and is always looking to improve in some way. He works so hard to be able to do the things we want to do, and work towards goals together. Everything he does is for us rather than just for him. He takes care of me, and I feel proud of him.

What are your least favourite quirks about each other? - He smokes, which I don't mind, but he makes a mess in the kitchen with his tobacco! If I asked him what his least favourite quirk about me, it would probably be finishing his stories for him when he is telling them (He takes so long to get his point across though!)

How did you meet?

We originally first met at 6th form, I was going out with a guy who's best girl firend was going out with OH. Skip forward 2 years and Im being dragged out into town for the night by my friend, I was off men at this point after months of meeting sleezy all after 1 thing men. So i wasnt in the best of moods and had decided not too drink to much as I had had enough of hangovers, we were dancing away when I see OH I had told myself before I had gone out 'no more men just leave it' but something was different about him. I told my friend 'look at the guy in the white top' we swap sides so she can see him 'ohh he seems nice-oh hes just smiled at me' I thought then oh bloody typical just another sleeze, but as people began to leave the dance floor we realised we were both looking at differnt guys in white tops! There was one each! We carried on dancing and eventually caught each others eye and he gave me a cheesy grin and his little group of friends gradually made their way over, just as I am harrased by what can only be described as a woods man (big beard, lumber jack shirt, cap etc) OH see's this and signal's a 'are you ok' i respond with 'no! help me' he grabs my hand and pulls me into his little group of friends. I spend the rest of the night with him and his friends (my friend has got herself in with the other guy with the white top). Lights up time and he walks me to the kebab house to meet my friend and asks for my number he leaves and less than an hour later he has text me to say he enjoyed the night with me and wants to meet up again.......

What attracted you to each other?

The cheesy grin and his crazy dance moves! He says I looked 'hot'!!

The moment he asked me to be his official girlfriend, in the same club we had met 2 weeks earlier! I said yes pretty much staright away but he had obviously prepared a speech so i let him get on with it, he gave me a whole speech on how he knows we had only known each other 2 weeks but he didnt care and knew we were meant to be together.

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

Not very everything moved very quickly at the beginning of our relationship I think it was about 3 weeks after we were 'offically' together, I said it first too.

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

I love how he makes me laugh and how we can be very silly together, he says that when I stretch I think Im a cat and how Im so emotional!

What are your least favourite quirks about each other?

There seems to be lots! ? I hate how he sits on the sofa with his hands down his trousers! He farts alll the time! He would live in joggers and tshirts given the choice! But my all time least favourite is how he thinks it hillarious to get into bed when there are things on top of it (clean washing, my uni work) he lies under the cover giggling until i come in! He says Im the most indecisive person ever and doesnt think I will ever be able to make deicsions when we really get stuck into the wedding planning!

How did you meet?

Through a climbing/mountaineering group that I joined after my ex husband left me. It was a way of getting out and meeting new people

What attracted you to each other?

Nothing initially, we were friends. I was with someone else and thought he fancied someone else in the group. Stayed friends and climbing partners for years. I knew he liked me, but wasn't that interested and he wasn't my type.

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please )

Before we were an item, lots of memorable summit moments on big snowy mountains. Afterwards, similar, and also some very cool travel moments - sailing down the Ganges lounging on a fishing boat, hand in hand, thinking "this is amazing". And the time at my cousin's wedding when I realised I needed to make a decision about being with him properly rather than knowing he loved me but not being prepared to commit.

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

Him, not long. He says he always knew from the first time we met (even though I hardly even noticed him and was getting very drunk to blank out the pain of my divorce). Me, a very very long time, probably not until 2yrs ago (we've known each other since 2004) when I realised I had to make that decision. And not 100% until I'd accepted his proposal!

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

He's reliable and will suggest fun things to do. He would say I'm fun and silly but he likes it.

What are your least favourite quirks about each other?

I don't like his obsessive neatness or the way he makes weird breathing noises when asleep. He doesn't like me leaving things lying around and being scatterbrained.

How did you meet? I was in the pub underage with a friend and I asked him to buy me my drinks. (I offered to pay, but he ended up buy for me all night!)

What attracted you to each other? I liked that he was quiet, cute, unassuming and very funny. He liked boobies, and that i found him funny.

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please ) when I was pregnant we'd been watching STVoyager the Dr is delivering a baby and says "push ensign" well OH thought it would be very funny to say said line whilst I was hooked up to the fetal monitor...I was laughing so hard the midwife thought I was in labour!? It deffinitely stopped me worrying ?

I realised from quite early on but he had it in his head that all women are the same and only want to sleep with your mates. But I left him to it an I think he realised about the time he asked me to move in with him

What are your favourite quirks about each other? I love his ability to make me laught in any situation. He loves me scratching his back hehe

What are your least favourite quirks about each other? He can be very grouchy when tired or hungry and he has his own time of the month. He hates that I tidy his bike stuff away and he can never find anything

How did you meet?

OkCupid I'd just moved to London, and EVERYONE I went to school with was female, and thought I'd give online dating a try. I met him quite quickly, and our first date lasted about 8 hours, so I knew he was pretty awesome.

What attracted you to each other?

I can't remember what it was, but he was just.. nice. and comfortable. and just.. me.

One of our earliest dates was to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, and he let me drag him ice skating. It was hilarious, he was so bad! And even though I'm just an average skater for a Canadian, I was a million times better than most people there, and he was so embarrassed. I think he expected me to be as bad as he was. But then he dragged me on a scary ride and I screamed and squeezed his hand so hard I think he felt a bit better!

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

I remember when I was supposed to be going to Rome on a trip for a week. He was due to meet me in Venice afterwards for a long weekend, but the night before I left I just did NOT want to go. Me- not wanting to go to Italy!?! It just so happens that it was that night he first told me he loved me. It made me feel alright about going, and when I met him at the vaporetto stop in Venice the next week I just could not stop kissing him

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

I think I love his bad puns. Just don't ever tell him that. I couldn't tell you what he likes most about me..

What are your least favourite quirks about each other?

He never does any dishes. That's about it

how long did it take to realise you loved each other? a few weeks for me, i was getting ready to go out on a girls night, and was texting him, and said love you have a good night, and was shocked when he said i am glad you put that as i feel the same, then he took me out for sunday lunch to cure the hangover

We spoke on MSN messenger after not speaking for a couple of years whilst I lived in Cyprus. The day I moved back we met up & it was like we'd never been apart. That day I knew he had to be mine ?

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

We met in 2003 and I think we admitted we were in love with each other even before we started officially being in a relationship in 2008!

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

I love how he loves shoes & fashion, unlike any other bloke I know! He is too helpful when we go shopping haha

He loves that I'm clumsy because he gets to look after me & it's hilarious!

What attracted you to each other? he was a drummer who also played rugby and was a bit of a jock. He says he liked me for my blonde hair blue eyes and sense of humour

What are your favourite quirks about each other? he does the cutest little stretch when he wakes up of a morning and i just have to wrap my arms around him and squeeze (bleugh! i know) he doesnt have any of me, but i think he likes that im a neat freak :/

What are your least favourite quirks about each other? he spends a LONG time on the toilet several times a day, he winds me up lol! I think he also finds my neat freakyness annoying in some respects.

We have been together 7 years now and we are both proud parents to 2 gorgeous boys 3.5yrs and 2yrs (in 3 weeks) We own our house and have worked very hard to get our wedding where it is so very excited hehe!

How did you meet?

I was on a girly holiday in Ibiza, lay on the beach one day (i hate being on the beach, sand, eugh) just got relaxed and i hear in this silly essex accent "you alright? what you girls doing tonight?" I hate the beach and i hate people borthering me when im getting my chill on. Anyway cut a long story short i got dragged on some night out he was selling by my mates, scowled the whole night and took the pi** out his accent, his presence was an inconvenience to me haha im such a cow! The end of the night came and I guess i just hadnt pulled haha he walked me home and saw me out the next few nights he was very persistent and i guess he grew on me, as they say the rest is history. I really didnt expect to see him ever again i thought oh how many other girls have you promised to see when you get home, He wasn't mean to come back to the uk for another month but about 4 days after i got home i had a text saying he wanted to come up to manchester to meet me! he came up for a few weekends and around 3 months later he moved in, it was very much a whirlwind romance!

I hated his accent but i think deep down i was trying to convince myself i didnt like him. He always says he liked the chase and the fact i wasnt like all the other girls falling for his lines and cause he was a worker out there. He didnt give up so i guess he was worth it haha

There is no one big thing that sticks out really, i always loved the fact that when he first came to manchester to see me i already had a night out planned in fancy dress, he knew no one but me and came up in full superman gear i thought that was quite good of him i knew he was up for a laugh haha!

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

I was swept off my feet a little so tried to reign myself in, i knew it properly after about 2 and a bit months, he reckons he fell head over heels for me a few days before i came home.

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

Its not really a quirk but when ive mentioned something in passing that i like and a few days later he'll walk in with it OH! he always ALWAYS without fail wipes the bottom of his feet 3 times each foot before he puts his socks on its so strange haha

How did you meet? 1st time was at BM 18th. Both with other people. 2nd time BM invited us both a NYE party

What attracted you to each other? We were told to stay away from each other...challenge accepted!

A memorable moment? The night after NYE we went out as a group and he told me he didn't want a relationship and didn't do committment....how wrong was he!

He's fun and playful! I love someone who I can have a joke and mess around with. Oh and he never tried to be something he's not, he didn't try too hard to impress me... he was just himself

He wanted to make my birthday special so he decided to cook me steak, he set the fire alarms off, got the whole building evacuated... then I accidently locked us out of the flat. We ended up sitting in the fire engine until the electrician arrived to turn the alarm off, then we watched the fire brigade break into the flat to let us back in. Lets just say... I wont forget that birthday in a hurry.

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

When we were officially together it was a matter of days... we'd been spending time with each other as friends for quite a few months. We both knew it was going to happen it was just a matter of when and where.

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

When we are playful... he spent most of last night trying to ignore me because he knew it would wind me up... so I got some ice cubes, and we had a playful ice cube fight. We both ended up laughing until we couldn't breathe.

What are your least favourite quirks about each other?

I hate when he's drunk and he tries to be funny! He probably hates how bossy I can be! haha x

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please ) - The second night he stayed mine!!.. it was a fantastic night, we didnt get to sleep till 5 in the morning but it was well worth the tirdeness!!! ?

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other? We had both agreed to keep it casual from the start just more a sex based fling than anything as we had just both come out of relationships, but we saw each other about 5 times a week and spoke every single day, i think after about a month i realised i felt more for him that i should be and then one night we went out for a meal and came back to me and were lying in bed and he told me he loved me, i already knew i loved him but i didnt want to stay it first just incase! lol

What are your favourite quirks about each other? i like the cute songs he makes up and sings to me down the phone. He likes the fact i always blow bubbles in the bath! lol

We met through mutual friends, I had seen him before but not spoken to him so at a party we were both going to I hunted him down.

Well this is a tricky one, I just fancied him (was only 16 at the time so fancying was all that really mattered). He was really quiet and didnt give anything away so I saw him as a bit of a challenge.

A memorable moment

Our first holiday together. We booked a last minute trip to Tunisia for 10 days, just the two of us. There wasnt really much to do around where we were staying and no one else our age but we just had the best time and got on so so well. There was no specific moment but i just have really fond memories from that holiday.

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

This took ages. We were both very young and both 'not looking for a relationship' so we had a bit of a friends with benefits situation for a long time, just meeting each other with our other friends, but after about 6 months we started seeing each other without anyone else and after about a year he asked if I loved him and I said yes :-)

What are your favourtie quirks about each other?

He has a reputation as being a bit of a tough guy, when he was at school he was pretty naughty and this image has stuck with him (I didn't go to any of the local schools so I had never heard of him). But I know that he is the biggest softie ever, he is so affectionate and caring and always knows the right thing to say.

What are your least favourtie quirks about each other?

He is terrible with money which worries me but my main irritation is that he always, without fail, will leave some food on his plate, usually just a few mouthfulls. And instead of putting it in the bin, he will just leave the plate next to the sink for me to scrape off when it has turned into concrete.

We met in a bar my BF was talking to one of his friends and i was dancing until 2 strange men started trying to dance with me so i asked OH to pretend he knew me and save me, we got chatting, swapped numbers and went on our first date 2 days later to a bonfire.

His dancing attracted me, and he is gorgeous obviously! Im sure he would say my looks attracted him!!

I was very ill quite early on in our relationship, it was a lot to deal with but he stood by me, was my rock. When i got better we decided to book a amazing luxury holiday to mexico as a treat for all i/we had been through it was the holiday of a life time, we decided a lot of things on that holiday, that we wanted to marry each other, and to try for a baby which leads m to the next most memorable moment....the night we conceived our LO !!!!

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

Id say about 2 weeks, we started saying we adored each other because i think we both felt a bit silly admitting we were in love so early on but i guess love at first sigh does exist!

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

He would say how i twiddle my ear and nuzzle into my sleeve when im tired. I love hearing him be silly with our LO and making him laugh his head off

For him it would be that he can have a whole conversation with me and then 2 minutes later realise im not even listening to him!

What attracted you to each other? We spoke on-line for about a month and then he came to stay with me for a long weekend. I liked him as he was different to what i had know ( lived in a small Hampshire town) and he was from London, he was so into me and loving, i didn't realise men could be like that. Wow umm When we found out we was pregnant. I went to the docs thinking i would be about 4 weeks but when i went for a scan i was 18 weeks 3 days( so must of fell about 3 weeks of getting him him eeek) and knew we was having a baby girl. To look at that little screen and back at my partners face, was lovely, he was all watery eyes but a huge smile. And as much as he hates me telling people he cried at the birth, i think he was the most in love man in the world at that point

What are your favourite quirks about each other? I love what a good dad he is , he will roll about with our two children, get dressed up silly, let my little boy and girl put make up on him. As he just wants to make them happy , he is a fab dad. I also like little things like when we row he will just kiss me and be silly, annoying but i love it at the same time

How did you meet? I was an A+E nurse and he is an ambulance technician. Therefore he brought patients to me! Apparently he remembers the first ever patient he gave me (was one of our regulars) back in 2005!

What attracted you to each other? We were purely just chatty at work for ages, then decided to meet up for drinks a few times, as friends. I had no idea that he fancied me (or had done for 2 years). Why would a lovely guy like that fancy me?!

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please ) Our first camping trip away to Cornwall when we hired a VW camper. It was just genuinely lovely, even though it poured down with rain most days!

How did you meet? Well. The first time we actually met...he likes to remind me about it, because I can't remember it ? I was a leetle bit hung over. The first time we had a proper meeting, it was on a night out with our university friends. We ended up sat next to each other, and we had a slightly awkward conversation - Him: "So what do you study?" "Drama, you?" "Filmmaking...you should be one of my films one day." "uuuum okay" ? Paha. We didn't actually get together for another 3 months, as I had a boyfriend at the time

What attracted you to each other? We had a lot in common, and he was very, very lovely when I broke up with my ex. One night, I was getting very down on myself, saying that I was very plain and nothing special. He told me "it doesn't matter if no one else thinks you're special, because you're special to me." He also saved me his last chocolate digestive ? it was never a "looks" thing, not that we're bad looking, but it was just more of a mental connection ?

A memorable moment? (no wedding proposals, please ) Ooh can I say the first time we kissed? Haha! We were out with friends for a birthday, and we were sat chatting in a booth. Both had a few drinks in us, and he told me to stop messing with my skirt - it was a lot shorter than I was used to, and I kept trying to pull it down to cover my legs more. He told me I had very nice legs and that I shouldn't be shy, then put his head on my shoulder. I turned to say something to him, and he was closer than I thought, and then he kissed me ? it was sloppy and we were being watched by friends of a friend, who started cheering. He then told me he liked me, I said I liked him too, but then when I got home, I freaked out because my last boyfriend had been a complete tool, so I wasn't used to someone telling me they liked me ? I stayed awake all night, and by the morning, after about an hour's sleep, I realised that I hadn't slept because it was so nice to be wanted.

I realised first, but I didn't want to say in case it pressured him into saying something he wasn't ready to say - although I nearly did anyway, haha. About a week after I nearly told him, we were just lying in his room listening to music, and he told me he loved me, and I said I loved him back ?

What are your favourite quirks about each other? He chews his tongue when he's really concentrating, which makes me laugh - although, I pointed it out to him and now he doesn't do it anymore ? and as for me, he just says that I'm "awesome" but he doesn't have any specific things to say right now apparently lol

What are your least favourite quirks about each other? Neither of us take compliments very well, but we know it's accepted really so it's not a problem. I get annoyed when he says he's listening, and I'm asking him to do something important (like put a wash in so my work uniform is clean, for example) but I know he's not because he's actually playing a game, and then forgets to do what I asked even if I told him a thousand times. He gets annoyed when I ask him if he's done something (like put salt in the water for cooking pasta), because I didn't see him do it and I get very anal about cooking things properly ?

We started work at the same bar right after I had left school. I was going through a bad time and I saw him and I remembered him from primary school. I couldn't stand him! He had been such a trouble maker and I was gutted I'd got a job and would have to work next to him!! After meeting a few times, we talked and started working together a lot. He had a girlfriend at that point and a few months later when they had split up, it seemed natural we would get together.

We had worked together and the place we worked was busy so we had no time to be false and saw each others good bad and stressed sides!! We've had a lot I'd like to write about, some small some large. But my most memorable was a few months after we were together and we were walking home from work and talking. He was joking that when he had kids he would teach them really naughty words and I said 'Oh believe me if we have kids they won't know any naughty words' and he just looked and we and said 'If? We'll definitely have children'

How long did it take you both to realise and admit you were in love with each other?

He said it first but we were very quickly serious about one another. We didn't have dates until we had been together for about a year! Instead we ate every meal together at work so we were able to act really natural around one another and got used to eating breakfast lunch and dinner together and after a few months it just felt like we had always been together. I don't remember when I first knew I really loved him as it happened so fast!

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

I love the fact that we are either complete opposites or exactly the same. We finish each others sentences. He's not romantic so when he does romantic things it really means a lot. He makes me laugh, mostly by driving me crazy. I love how he treats our cat like his son

This! My OH doesn't get that I write lists for absolutely everything ? he doesn't so much find it annoying as amusing though. Like, we go on holiday and I write down everything I need to take and triple check it, because I know I'll forget something if I don't, and it'll be something important, like my glasses, or shampoo or something ?

We went to school together from age 5, we were friends and in the same social circle and had the odd drunken kiss but didn't get together till 17 years (nearly to the day) since we met.

Just after he proposed to celebrate he organised a day out, we went ice skating at the tower of london and he was so terrible I was in absolute hysterics, he'd been so confident that he was an excellent skater and toddlers were overtaking him and helping him up when he fell over, I was crying with laughter but still thought he looked so cute

I was determined to take the relationship slowly and not rush into anything, yet got very drunk about 8 weeks into it and told him whilst he was in the bathroom rubbing my back as i threw up ? he told me the next morning, as wanted to make sure I was sober and took him seriously but said he'd felt it from our first kiss

What are your favourite quirks about each other?

we often lie on the sofa scratching each others backs, and he thinks it's cute that I like the smell of his feet and and gives me his socks to sniff. I'm weird.

He'll put a load in the dishwasher and will always forget at least 5 items. He hates my addiction to cooking programmes, even though I can't cook I like watching others do it!!
